I know Dirks rebounding doesn't directly translate to a Mavs blow out. But generally when a player is on, he is on in every category. And you like Dirk to have a good rebounding night. Doesn't mean the rebounds will come off Lowry or Martins shots but it does point that you think Dirk will have a decent game, even if you're not betting on his points.

I only brought him up because you had the 2 Rockets guys under preforming to their posted numbers and a Mavrick guy over preforming while liking Rockets team. Thought that was odd.

Yes, i was aware of Kyle Lowrys ppg on the season. And no i did not check his career #s vs the Mavs. I dont think those #s hold a whole lot of value personally. I think him going against Jason Kidd that couldn't guard a sandwich if he was starving at his age, let along a fast PG is more important.

As for Martin, 2 of his 14 games included a 1, 3 point games as a rookie, that'll scew your average quite a bit. He did not play the Mavs last year. in 2008/09 as a member of the Kings he put up 16.7, right on, in 2007/08 however he put up 30.7.....i dont think any of that is relevant at all, just some info.

I didn't say you dont know your shit, in fact, i tail many of your plays. Just wanted to know why you made this one cause it did not add up to me. Not trying to convince you either way.

Just hope they come out storming from the get go so my 1H covers. My angle for playing the 1H is purely based on the playing with anger factor and will want to pound these guys from the get go. I see Miami getting close to 60 by themselves before the Half. Hope washington can chip in with at least 40.

Why do you consider this an argument rather then a discussion? I thought we were discussing your pick, i certainly was not arguing. Discuss is exactly what i was intending to do. There is nothing more then good luck wishes or someone bashing, thats hardly discussion.

I do think past player performances are worth taking a look at. But not going back for a 5 year stretch when the player in question was a rookie playing 10 minutes a game. Also the player being a part of a totally different team matters.

I do think that things like match-up should be taken into account. For example, i am a Nets fan, i watch the teams every game and i know that our center Brook Lopez turns into a little girl at first sight of Dwight Howard, no stats needed on that i know he has no chance if thats the match-up. So i do see the value in looking at things like that, imo its best to filter them out a bit.

yes, they really should turn the ball over less in 2nd half, as u said Washington have more than just their hands full, no J.Wall and plus other injuries, and Miami fired up to start playing good, Wash has nothing to look for in here! Personaly, i was for Wash +12, but with Wall playing.. this way I'm with you on the play!
