Nuggets didn't even heat up from 3-pt yet, 1-7 so far. Portland has been knocking them down, those won't hit in the 2nd half.

I'm even going to make a small write-up for this.

Lakers just had a heartbreaking loss against the Spurs at home and they go to NO to face the Hornets, a team which everyone assumes is hot. So here's what's tricky: Their hot streak is over as they are 1-3 L4 losing to Phoenix, OKC and Sac.

Hornets won't have Okafor (oblique) and Ariza (ankle sprain) who are their 2 best defenders. Lakers had 46 points in the paint in the last game in New Orleans which they won by 15. I expected the Lakers to have their way inside with Jason Smith who's not half the defender that Emeka is.

Ariza is out which might make it easier for Kobe to get his points and dish out assists, Bellinelli is an ok defender, but Ariza does a better job on Bryant. Either Quincy Pondexter or Marcus Thornton will be starting for Ariza which is a huge downgrade.

Nothing is guaranteed in gambling especially in the nba. but they are not the raptors so I expect them to bounce back tonight.
