I will be selling points to get +110 (sides only) and I will post the record daily.
Just something I thought is interesting, please follow if you want.
I don't even know sites that let you buy points. I go through bodog, which I shouldn't because it's not very good, they block off a lot of games with red boxes which means you can't tease or parlay those picks. As of last fall, you can buy a half a point only if the spread lies at a half, like 1.5, 2.5, 6.5, you can buy to a whole number, and thats it. Then I tried betED.com, and that isn't very user friendly. A two team 4 point teaser at bodog is 1/1 odds. And at betED.com, a two team teaser 4 points, is 5/6. Back to my point, bodog, and betED.com don't allow you to buy/sell points. If that helps narrow it down a bit.

In looking at this I guess it would have depended on the number you sold off of SA's line... Denver is the only other game I can see where selling points got you burned...
I just guessed on what the lines might be at -110 or around there...
The SA line is the wildcard.. Even though you got burned by Denver you still would have made out but that SA is the question...

went 6-5 today: +1.74 units
at -110 would have been 7-4 +2.36
I'll try to post the regular wager next to the +110 bet just to get an idea.
New Jersey Nets +2½ +111 Win $111 San Antonio Spurs 7.5 +109 Loss -$100
Portland Trail Blazers +10 +112 Win $112
Utah Jazz -3.5 +118 Loss -$100 Denver Nuggets -11.5 +116 Loss -$100
+1.74
New Jersey Nets +1 -110 Win +$91 San Antonio Spurs 6.5 -110 Loss -$100
Portland Trail Blazers +11.5 -110 Win +$91
Utah Jazz -1.5 -110 Loss -$100 Denver Nuggets -10.5 -110 Win +$91
+2.36
I agree with your math and you would think a game would make a bigger differance then .52... I still agree with it in the long term... Let's see how it plays out...
Looks to be about every .5 point is +- 9. So i will just minus 1 point if it is below +117. If it is +117 or +118 I will minus 1.5 points, (to see if there is a tie or win for the -110 bet).

did a calculation:
If i win half of the games, so go 50%, 656/1320, and put a $1000 on every game at an average +110, I would win $72000
Dallas Mavericks -4 +111
Orlando Magic -9½ +115
Toronto Raptors -1 +117
Los Angeles Lakers -9½ +116
Los Angeles Clippers +2½ +110
Houston Rockets -9 +116
Golden State -11 1/2 +110

Denver Nuggets -7½ +114
New Jersey Nets -7½ +116
Sacramento Kings -6 +115
New Orleans Hornets -6½ +112
Dallas Mavericks -4 +111
Orlando Magic -9½ +115
Toronto Raptors -1 +117 Los Angeles Lakers -9½ +116 Los Angeles Clippers +2½ +110 Houston Rockets -9 +116 Golden State -11 1/2 +110
Detroit Pistons -5½ +111 Boston Celtics -5½ +115
Denver Nuggets -7½ +114

Looks like 1 would have been a win if played at -110
(3 total)
This is interesting... Keep it going.. I would also think this would work much better in College hoops...

Shams you are probably right. Because Nba lines are usually lower meaning, the games will have a higher percentage of being close to the line. Never thought about that.
