5-4-1 POSTED REC IN NBA PRESEASON

So far in the preseason, out of 38 games, only 13 have gone over the total. Not including this past friday where all the games went over, thats 7 out of 32 for almost 80% of the games going under.

One total I'm looking at right now is the Under in the Dallas and Cavs game at 194. The Cavs are coming in after playing and winning last night in Houston.

In the Utah and Portland game however, I am liking the Over...Remember Utah not being a very defensive team last season on the road. With the addition of Al Jefferson, their defense has probably gotten worse. I do think Jefferson will fit in perfectly in Utah's offensive scheme. Portland at home is deep and have been playing well.

The Hawks seem to be a team lost in the middle, they aren't horrible, but they know they dont have a team good enough to win in the playoffs. And their play may show it this season. Detroit has been playing well, and is a young and confident team with players fighting hard to impress for the regular season. I think Pistons will win this game.

I like all your picks but the Pistons pick, I actually took the Hawks on the ML, they blew a 21pts lead at halftime against Memphis, you've got to expect the new coach Larry Drew who emphasizes an up tempo style will have his team ready to go even in a preseason game.. I also like how they match up with the Pistons short gaurds, ATL is a very tall athletic team, I'm kinda shocked they aren't the favorites..

Wow, the line on the Detroit moved over night from -1.5 to -6.5. In this situation I would usually bet against the line move and take ATL. But since I like Detroit oringinally, i will lay off this game.

I'm still liking the Under in the Dallas game, it moved down 3 points, but I still think this total stays under pretty easy.

I'm also gonna add Portland, and lay off the Over in that game since the total dropped two points. I've been tracking the line moves, and when the totals have been dropping, the games have been going Under most of the time.

The 3 plays I posteed up to went 3-0, but the plays I ended up with went 1-1, which brings my rec to 6-4-1.

Two plays stand out to me where the lines are moving quickly. Minnesota at home against a very poor road team in Denver; and a Clippers team at home against a vetern Spurs team. Both lines have moved almost 3 points, and I love betting against the line movements. I also like the Under in the Warriors and Kings game, the Warriors have become more defensive minded with their additions.
