this will be my thread for the whole nba season including the playoffs, hopefully i can make some profits this season. i will post my units too to keep a track of myself for the whole season. hopefully i can be better than last season finished at 50%

like houston +7.5 for the 1st game
Lakers may win the game straight up but probably won't cover the 7.5 spread, they also have the ring ceremony on the opening night so that factor alone may take away their energy, besides lakers don't have bynum inside to start the season, kobe may be only 80 to 90% to start the season and phil jackson has said that he may try to bring kobe in slowly and not force him to play heavy minutes to start the season, new role players still adjusting to the triangle (blake,barnes,ratliff) and houston is a pretty good team this year with yao back to play 24 minutes, aaron brooks improving and always giving fish boy a tough time to chase him around
i am playing the rockets if i get a good line but i am seriously hoping that LAL wins the game straight up

i have no doubt the lakers win the game SU. If its in doubt kobe will take care of the 4th quarter and the rockets have no one clutch enough to go shot for shot with him.

7.5 is a few points to cover, especially given the lakers will still be slightly rusty (no team can instantly flick a switch and be perfect) and the rockets are a strong team

public might still hammer the lakers and improve the line for you

I'ma big Laker fan and don't see them covering the 7.5 on opening night. Phil might control Kobe's minutes early on. Team is pretty deep and they want to get all the guys acclimated. Best of luck
