why is everyone still hating on lebron?
he did what any smart person would have done. basketball is his job right, if the company you work for has nothing to offer you, no raises, promotions anywhere in sight, no retirement?? (the reasons why you work for other than a pay check) wouldnt you leave to go somewhere else to improve your chances to reach your goals?? but what about loyalty?? you put your family and yourself first.... right?? has anyone ever done this??

or what about leaving one book to another than has better lines, less juice...etc

same thing right?? you look out for yourself take care of your best interest because no one else is going to do it for you

his chances of winning are better (winning is one of his goals) so whats wrong with that, i just dont get it..... is everyone scared of how good they could be??

The Decision was a dumb move which Maverick Carter botched miserably. I can understand why people would be upset/hate how it was done. However, to hate him because of the move to Miami is just absurd.

Lebron did his time in Cleveland and legitimately tried to bring a championship to that god awful city. Most players nowadays would have forced a trade out of that situation in the first year or two. Larry Hughes was his best wingman for many years....are you kidding me? The fact of the matter is that this decision will by far be the most important one Lebron ever makes in his career. Choosing Cleveland to stay loyal and keep people happy could have very well been career suicide. Kevin Garnett said it best the night he defeated the Cavs last year; when asked about Lebron's decision he said "Loyalty is something that hurts you at times, because you can't get youth back."

Lebron couldn't afford to waste another 5-6 years in Cleveland on a team that had no clear paths to improve. He put up two of the greatest statistical seasons in NBA history (2 of the top 6), and yet had nothing to show for it. One player can't win a championship. No one in recent memory has done it.

Instead, Lebron takes less money to go to the situation he felt gave him the best chance at a championship and he gets crucified. I don't understand it. Somebody name another top 10 athlete in any sport who took less than max money in his prime in exchange for a championship.

Wade won the finals by himself in 06 when he averaged 36 a game or whatever a won 4 straight against the Mavs by himself. SHaq was pretty much just got his typical double-double. He was just a piece.

I know that 1 player can't win a championship, but do you think Lebron could have come and won 4 straight games against the Mavs? Lebron got spanekd by the spurs in his only shot at a ring- he didn't even put up a fight. Plain and simple- he is a quitter and crybaby, and he will mature as he gets older. He will learn alot from D wade and Pat Riley.

Lebron will learn alot from these guys.

Shaq was still far better than typical piece back then. Wade also got an incredible amount of calls his way in the Finals. No one has ever won a championship with the kind of supporting casts Lebron has had thus far.

It seems like people will never understand... 90% of the hate towards Lebron is not the things he do, but the way he does.

The Decision is the reason why he is a ****. Noone called Chris Bosh a piece of garbage when he first left. The comments he made a while later is why he is gaining haters as well.

We all know sports is a business, and that's why we don't really hate on players leaving and support those who stay even more. That's why Garnett's 11 year tenure under the worst GM ever should be celebrated even more.

Free agents move every year, and stars move every year. Why is it that everyone hates on Lebron especially? It's because he started hyping it up for himself a year before it started, told people to grab their popcorn, and then humiliate his Cleveland team by having The Decision, which really is the dumbest thing a person can put up. Seriously?

That's a really bad example. Wade didn't win that finals by himself. That's like saying Shaq won it by himself in the early 2000's... Or Kobe won it be himself these past 2 years. And to even compare that Cavs squad to the 2006 Heat squad is absurd.

On another note, the "Lebron Hate" is just what I figured it would turn out to be. People would start bashing him for any and everything. Their reasons would start to sound wacky and the proof would be shaky at best but mostly absent.. Same thing happen and still happens with Kobe.

As it was said in a post earlier, its pretty much the way he went about it.

At least have some type of class about it. If you're really that classless at least fake it. Smile at the camera, explain how it was such a tough decision and how you lost sleep trying to decide, give the city of Cleveland respect by telling how much you appreciate the fans and the organization, and then call them all kinds of motherf*ckas and SOB's when no one is looking.

That all it takes. But to make a complete spectacle out of it shows that he is immature and spoiled.

Ditto Skilz...Lebron has surrounded himself with goons, who are easily influenced by large corporations that want to exploit Lebron.

                                1) People don't have a life, so hating LeBron give them a purpose.
                                2) Their teams have no chance against the Heats.

Move on with your life LeBron haters.
