status of KG & allen tonight 1/31

I highly doubt Garnett plays tonight:

per ESPN:

Allen is day-to-day, and Celtics coach Doc Rivers said Tuesday that he'll be careful not to rush Garnett back into the lineup.

"If he can play Thursday, we'll play him," Rivers said. "But again, it's got to be almost 100 percent. That's the way I look at those types of injuries."

Sounds like Rivers is kind of resigned to life without KG for another game... Definitely worth following. Any Boston locals with some knowledge?

boston's gone from -2 to +1, i take it KG is out.

Both he and Allen are listed as being "doubtful". Weird.

Yes KG is definitely out, but Allen is reported to be playing. I'm staying way off of this one.
