New to forum, first time thread. Money stucked with the Sunset - SportsGambling sarga. Need to make up somewhere. Thinking Pistons should rock in so like the -11.5. Any constructive comments would be most appreciated. Not sure what you all mean by 1,2 or how many units but am going to load this one.

11.5 points is a lot of points to climb over in an NBA game ... There is no doubt Detroit will win this, but a cover is another story here with McGrady back.

Detroit is 8-1-0 ATS in its last 9 games against Houston.

11.5 is a lot to lay , especially if you want to unload on it. They are a covering machine like Dan says, but they have to start tripping up sometime, wouldnt you think?

Me & Adriano are the only two that focus on NBA...it is a tough league...college cappers here are outstanding. If you need to make some money mix in some college games. Stop playing parlays! You should be playing a good number of dogs in both college and NBA...this will have you going against the public in a lot of games that is a good thing.

You need to have some way of managing your bankroll. You need to define what a unit is given the size of your bankroll. One way is 1/100th of your bankroll can be a unit or maybe you are a $100 player so $100 is a unit to you. If I say I am going to put 2 units on a game that could $20, $200 or $1000...that's my little secret. Make sense?

Alamo, is parlays not worth playing? I don't know if that is the case. I got 1 parlay so far and have lost many. Today I took Wichita St, Rutgers, Phil 76ers, Port Blaz, and Toronto Rap all at the spread. Just lost the last game Toronto. That would've yield 200% damn! But I will take your word. I was trying to make up the 700 units I lost with sunset that was why I loaded det piston and parlays. But I think I will take it easy and do it the right way. Any little bit helps.

Hard enough to hit one game much less two. I do play parlays but only in Baseball...we will talk about that when the time comes. What most of us do is place more money on one wager than the others. An example would be to put 3 Units on your best game and one unit on the others. I do like to use Teasers...especially in the NFL and they can come in handy in baskets but don't fall in love with them...they don't call em teasers for nothing.

You said you were "trying to make up for units lost". That's called "chasing" and it's the cardinal sin. Forget about lost money..if you don't it will cause you to take unnecessary risks and you will go down the toilet. It's a proven fact, I know it cause I have proved it many times..ROFLMAO. Remember these two sayings. "There is always another game tomorrow" and "The son don't shine on the same dogs ass everyday".
