#38Originally posted by BernardMadoffWell I was watching it live when Pip's name was called as a 50 all time great, didnt agree with it at the time but he was named one. I remember only once when Pip got mad about Kukoc shooting the last shot and he stayed on the bench I think, Kukoc made the game winning shot, dont think that was a regular occurrence of Scottie getting mad at that if so when were others.
I meant he isn't a top 50 player in my opinion. He bitched out of playoffs with migraines and the sitting on bench sulking because Phil drew up a play for Kukoc to take game winner shows why Pippen was a woman. The shot went in. He should have been happy.Comment -

#39What I don't understand... is why Lebron is taking all this animosity while Wade gets none. Staying with his franchise gives him more credibility than Lebron for sure, but if you're of a mind to criticize this development, Wade has to take some of the heat as well (no pun intended). The game is a different state now than it was in Jordan's era, and failing to accept that doesn't make you a purist...
And of the comments above, I found Jordan's to be the least damning. Barkley's are definitely the most condemning. If you're a fan of the game (and not just a Lebron basher), the end result is a power shift in the NBA, but from a gambling standpoint (this is a gambling forum, remember) it doesn't really change much, but will absolutely open up new opportunities, especially early on before the new team comes together.Comment -

#45I think that is unfair... i do think James is a spoiled brat.. but the media crucifies you if you are great but not a champion.. Lakers and Celtics win but all have more than one superstar... what is a guy supposed to do?
you need at least two to win it all now..
if you stay put, you are not committed to winning.. and if you leave, you're a quitter..
impossible to win in Cle. with that team

#46Easy for Jordan to say this when he had Pippen, Grant and Rodman. He didn't win his 1st 7 years, either, and could not win without Pippen. Just like Magic couldn't win without Jabbar. Where's James' Pippen in Cleveland?Comment -

#47LeBron is a follower...there is nothing wrong with that. Since high school, we have been force fed the idea that he was the man and he could do it all. When it came time to decide for himself, he decided he couldn't or didn't want to keep trying. When it comes down to it... Jordan, Kobe and Wade needed help... LeBron is the help. In the playoffs, game on the line.. Wade is going to be the first option... it's his team. That's just not what most people were expecting from a guy going by the names of "King James" and "The Chosen One".Comment -

#51LeBron is a overrated thug, and should have never been compared to Jordan. I am glad the the jackass is no longer wearing the number 23. Wade already got his ring, I'm glad LeBron is submitting, and admitting to being inferior and is Wade's bitch.Comment -
