Z is a slow poke and a liability on defense. This will them a worst defensive team. I'm still not impressed and I think LA smack them down in the finals if they get there.

Is he taking less money than he could get elsewhere or are the heat actually paying market value for him? i heard that the heat have gotten away with paying 60 mil below market value for players thus far.

Exactly right, Mountaineer. At first I was pissed off, but now I realize how awesome this is... Having teams to loathe is almost as fun as having teams to love!

the team has tons of talent. Regardless of who your favorite team is, which im guess LA is yours. you just can deny the facts.

Big Z plays baseball... just playing. Will be good for them from a size perspective, but the Heat as a team still a lot more things to improve on.

Great addition. The article also says the Heat are close to agreeing to terms with Juwan Howard as well, who would also be a solid addition. The combination of the big three and a supporting cast of veterans is going to be deadly.

Team starting to look better now, adding some good pieces. not many good Center s in FA so this was a good sign
