Therefore, you are most certainly correct that people saying Miami will NOT win the NBA championship certainly aren't going out on any sort of limb.
Miami has about a 30% chance to win the NBA championship.
However, if anyone is foolish enough to want to take Miami to win it all at even money, I would be willing to wager up to $100K saying they do NOT. The tough part would be getting some entity both sides can trust to hold the $200K in escrow.Comment -

Miami is not a lock for the Championship but if they can get it together and recruit some decent supporting players to support the big 3 they can make it up the conference finals/ possibly the finals.
It might take them 2 years to work it all out together though.
I'd say the Heat have a 40%'ish chance to win the Eastern Conference and maybe 25% to win the Finals.
