shaq is the big man they need and could play for little money. Iverson can pass and come off the bench as well as a back-up to chalmers.

I think people are putting alot of stock into the rookies miami has, their not really that good to start with, and you think they can go from 45 college games last year to 100+ NBA games this year with big minutes and not run out of gas? My money is on the heat melting down late season, getting a 2 seed, and being ousted by the magic or celtics.

Celtics are too old and deflated after this year's failure to be better than the heat next year. Magic have old carter which isn't good enough with just howard. De'sean butler is solid and mike miller is a great shooter. Chalmers can play point and they just need a decent center to be amazing now.

Well iverson off the bench wouldn't be terrible since he's considering it. Need a back-up PG... forget shaq I guess but they need a big man for gasol and they will be set. Haslem is a center but not big enough IMO.

haslem is a FA now, only wade, lechoke, bosh and chalmers are under contract with the heat right now, don't know if mike miller has signed though

did shaq win without kobe/wade? did gasol even win a single game in the playoffs without kobe? lebron had a decent team, that's a deep cavs team, and he's the one who handpicked those players, those trades were okayed by him before the deal pushed through

If they don't win it all this year it's not a huge deal cause they're just getting used to the system and gasol is tough to guard. Wish Phil didn't come back but lakers will not repeat

iverson cant shoot, cant play defense, when was the last time iverson finished a whole season??
shaq is a waste of time, his idea of defense is getting fatter to take up more space
u need guys like jared dudley, raja bell, ronny turiaf etc, guys who play D, hustle, block shots or shoot open jumpers
