LeBron Tanked Games? Did ******* LeBron cost me money? I risked a lot of money on Cavs to win on Game 6 of the playoffs against Boston this year. Hope the tanking stories are not true. Did anyone else also bet heavy on Cleveland to Win game 6?

Bron is a clown, he has dominated because he is athletically superior, it has nothing to do with work ethic or lack there of.....what about this jokers game has evolved because of hard work? Maybe he didnt throw the games but he certainly laid down when things didnt go his way......Comment -

#6he layed down in that series because if the Cavs do win and somehow beat the Lakers, it would have been awfully tough for him to leave Cleveland then. Now since they didn't win he has the excuse of, "well I gave 7 years of my career to that town and we couldn't get it done"Comment -

#11If he was not injured during that series, then he laid down. No if ands or buts abt it. Anybody who watched him all year knows what happens when it gets to the last 4 minutes of a game. He drove hard to the hole and got fouled or he pulled up for a jumper. THAT NEVER HAPPENED in the critical stages of Boston series. He passed to teammates who acted totally surprised to be getting the ball.
If he was hurt, it should have been told after the series was over. He kept saying the arm injury was not affecting him, but I figured he was just trying to play thru it.Comment -

#20Guys,
Labron did not TANK games or THROW games or any of that.
He really did not quit either. And while we all have a right to question what we saw, it was rather obvious.
Lebron was DEFEATED!!!!
Physically with the Boston pressure but more Mentally and Emotionally by the same Boston constant that you saw throughout the Finals.
They damn near beat LA with all they're defensive weapons and shutting down one guy is a shock?
He as much as said it last night when he eluded to teams with 3 big names winning multiple titles within the leagues recent history ,and by doing so, that the result of the Boston series pushed him in the direction that he chose.
And while I will NEVER defend the dog and pony show I saw last night( old school would have never allowed it and my school is an old one),having experienced such a COMPLETE beat down for the first time in his life on the court, surely pushed him in this direction.
He handled this like an immature player. His "TEAM" of amateurs, whoever the hell they might be, that advised him to do what he did will ,in the future it seems, do everything possible to continue doing what they do best, which is to wrongly advise and continually compromise this guys career.
Win ,lose, or whatever,he has a long way to go and until he finds better people to advise him, he will lag behind wherever he should be, no matter what achievements he might become a part of.
The T.V. show was a disgrace and fortunately for him, the Cleveland owner had a melt down to help deflect and spread around the ignorance.
Pretty sure all sides lost last night including Jim Gray who if you were not sure before , you realize now is a complete phony and as large a suck up as their is in broadcasting.Comment -

Then Dan Gilbert calls out the entire team and apologizes to the fans for getting blown out at home and Lebron got pissed that he would put everyone on blast.
Then the straw that broke the camel's back was Lebron bringing food to his mom in the hotel late at night prior to game 5 and Delonte West answers the door to the room. Lebron tried to attack Delonte several times the next couple of days and it was basically over then.
Game 6 - Mo Will knew that Lebron was tanking and on several occasions, Mo deferred giving him the ball because he knew he gave up. Look at the tape and you will see Mo even throwing bows at Lebron as he tried to get the ball out his hands. On a 3 on 1 fast break, instead of Mo passing the ball to Lebron for an easy alley oop, he kept the ball and turned it over.
Go back to the tape of game 5 and you will get your answer. Even if his elbow was broken that shouldn't affect his feet. He wouldn't chase down balls, didn't play defense, wouldn't shoot the ball, stood 35 feet away from the basket not even watching the play. He was even trying to disguise it.
Go back in this forum and you will see several people, including me, that said he was on the take. I've never seen that in pro sports. If I was Gilbert, I would take him to court and sue over non performance. The tape says it all.Comment -
