So Kobe's other rings are because of who??? Kobe is the one constant in LA, not Shaq, not Gasol. Kobe is the one that had the determination, will and fortitude to lead his team while Lebron tanked on purpose. Please don't try and compare Lebron to Kobe. Go back and rewatch game 5.

Lebron James has more talent than Kobe Bryant but Kobe is far better under pressure.
Lebron worshippers will blame James's poor playoff performances on his age but he's been in the NBA for 7 years.

phil jackson maybe kobe won because of phil, shaq, and gasol. put kobe on the cleveland teams that lebron played on and they dont even get to a finals like lebron did kobe went 6 for 24 from the field versus the celtics in game 7, they won because of gasol, artest, fisher, those other guys. the most important game all season long and he goes 6 for 24. basketball Gods like me and others know that kobe aint shit

Well the Olympic team had to put Kobe with Lebron, Bosh and Wade to show them how to get gold. The 3 of them couldn't even medal without him. In crunch time of the gold medal game, Lebron and Wade both shrunk and Kobe had to bail their asses out.
Somehow Kobe's 6 for 24 was a much spirited effort than Lebron not scoring from the field for 3 and 1/2 quarters. 2 words for the Lebron apostles... Game 5

I do not have a problem with LeBron leaving, I do have a problem with the way he did it. I really hope that LeBron tears a ACL, his mother contracted syphilis of the mouth from Delonte, and the people of Miami suffer multiple Hurricanes this year.

Who else is tired of this LeBron saga? Create a group of all stars if you want but you don't become a team without good coaching, practice, and hard work. Those who think Miami is going to be successful next year haven't watched the US Olympic team struggle. Time will tell if they are going to gel, but the target on their backs are going to make it difficult next year.

This is ludicrous. The Cav's brought in more people in the past 5 years then any other team in the NBA. Larry Hughes, Ben Wallace, Wally Szcerbiak, Donyel Marshall, Joe Smith, Mo Williams, Antawn Jamison, Shaq... All of them All Stars at one point. Big Z was an all star, Verajao one of the top defensive players in the league, etc. Lebron was the one in the ear of Ferry telling him who he wanted. Lebron signed off on every trade. Doesn't that make it his fault as well?
Cleveland wins more games the past 5 years than any other team and you say they could have brought in better players
This is the big ruse the "chosen one" played on everybody. Not only did he crown himself before he won shit. He also convinced everyone that the only reason they didn't win was because of everyone else. How the hell do you win 66 games with one person? You don't. On one hand you say he can't do it on his own but in the same breath say that the only way they win is on his own You sir... have been had.
Then to see him tank games and fake an injury all in an effort to pull off an insidious plan to team with Wade and Bosh that was hatched years ago. Who does that? Where's his integrity? What excuse will the Lebron apostles give when the Heat win less games than the Cav's did last year? I'm sure they'll find a way to blame Bosh or their bench...

It's just sad he had to go somewhere else to hide behind Wade and Bosh..he clearly noticed he couldn't win a championship being a leader on a team. The best situation for him would have been Chicago...but he wanted to be with friends instead of compete with them and he didn't want the responsibility of leading a team anymore. The dude's a joke.

Chicago meant he would have to take the lead. He can't do it. He couldn't do it in Cleveland, couldn't do it in the olympics and he sure didn't want to get called out in Chicago. He can now defer to Wade and not have to feel the pressure. What a pussy. If Wade goes down then he will be forced to lead which we will see him shrivel up again.

am i the only one that thinks Chicago would have been a better situation for Lebron? think about it Noah, Boozer, Deng, Lebron, Rose... who is fukking with that starting 5... other than the Lakers no one lol... having said that Miami has the potential to be a great situation, I think LBJ Wade and Bosh will play well together and Lebron would have been committing career suicide by staying a Cav. He should have showed the city a little more respect than to do it the way he did but 7 long years of being superman wore on him and it's sad that he's admitting he doesn't want to be "the guy" anymore but he was always more comfortable being a Magic than MJ prototype anyway, and i would not be shocked if he averages a triple double at least once during his Miami years

The whole team shot like shit. They were tired, you could tell. And Gasol was a nobody when he went to LA, thats how the lakers got him so cheap and easily. Kobe and Phil have made Gasol into the player he is today, specifically Kobes work ethic and drive have rubbed onto Gasol in a big way. Kobe makes the players around him better.

Exactly. Like I said if Lebron woulda went to the Bulls they would have seriously made a run at that 72-10 record. BUT as we saw, Lebron does not want that. He wants to play tag along and be just the 2nd or 3rd guy to go to. If he avg's a triple double that means Wade isn't touching the ball. And let's not forget, this is Wade's house, not Lebron's. And if he thinks he's gonna go in there and act like it's his. There is gonna be some turmoil on that Heat team. I can't wait.

Fukk all the bitter Cav fans. LeBron fulfilled his contract, doesn't matter how he exited, he's gone!!! Maybe LeBron knew the owner and management wasn't about shit. That's what the Cavs get for tanking to get LeBron in the 1st place, and firing John Lucas, who LeBron was very fond of.

After the Cavs dominated in the regular season and everyone was picking them to win the championship, and then they go and pull off that choke job, i think Lebron started to think after that. I think he realized that he might not have what it takes. He might not have a big enough set. He couldn't handle the pressure. He didn't want to go through all that, it was too much work and it wasn't worth it. He decided that he wants to win championships, but it's too hard. It was too much of a risk to do the old-fashioned way, too much work, too much sacrifice, too much pressure.
I'm not saying leaving the Cavs was right or wrong. The way he did it was obviously wrong, but the decision itself, i can't say that was wrong. All I'm saying is that it says a lot about the guy.

I've heard a lot of people say that they are not scared of the Heat because they ONLY have 3 players. But these are 2 hall of fame players and a third that is going to be a perennial all-star. They'll fill in the roster with some gritty veterans and role players and be just fine. They may struggle a little bit early on until everyone settles into their respective roles, but I think this team wins 63-68 games and goes on to win the championship without too many problems. The Lakers and Celtics are getting older and aren't getting any better. Orlando and Chicago are solid teams, but they don't have enough quite yet.

I would be worried either way if i was a magic fan. Vince Carter is as soft as a baby's bottom and could choke on jello. If you're relying on this guy to score crunch time point and make big shots in the playoffs, then, well, you're fuked.

I have mixed feelings on this.
Ohio is his hometown where he grew up in and he betrayed his city. On the other hand, the staff on the Cavs are just terrible, coach brown had many chances to win a ring with lebron and he didn't and the owner showed his true colors when lkebron left in a statement which was out of line.

Mike Brown wasn't the one out there on the court. It wasn't his fault that Lebron didn't have the heart to keep trying against the Celtics this year.
