I think you're mixing 'power' with 'money machines'. They can only have what they want if there is a significant profit made for the networks.

Didn't LeBron want (and get) all the commercial spots to go the Boys and Girls Clubs???? ESPN would not make any money from the comercial spots then....would they???

As for making decisions.....I think Tiger makes all of the decisions...whether good or not.
