    Seattle -5
Seattle returns home after changes coaches during the road trip. The Sonics played hard for Coach Hill during the road trip and I expect them to play hard for him tonight in his first home game as the head honcho.

Orlando on the other hand brings a miserable 4-10 road record to this game and are coming off a horrible performance last night against a Clippers team that not only had been struggling to get wins the last month but were also without Elton Brand. The fragile Grant Hill is not expected to play tonight but double check on that before you join me on this one.

rich, this game is very tough for me to cap. my first impression is both teams are just flat out bad this year.

if i had to pick a side in this game, i'd take the magic though. but, i'm passing on it.

    good luck bud

Doesn't matter if they are both bad teams...one of them is gonna cover...hold your nose and take Seattle for reasons stated in the write up. The NBA is all about scheduling..injuries..momentum swings. Percentages and statistics are not as important when it comes to handicapping as in other sports.

you got that right rich, one of them has to cover, unless of course it lands on 5

I agree with you on that, but I also do find teams on the first night back after a road trip especially east coast west coast or in reverse usually don't play well, but as you stated the Magic did play a bad game last night and they are playing back to back so I think it is a hard game to cap and you could go either way

I agree with you BiG D on the first night back sceanario...as a general rule teams returning from an extended road trip tend to play flat..it is definatly not the lock of the century...I do think Sonics will bring energy so as not to make coach look bad. If they get beat by Orlando tonight it will show that they just suck and has their problems have nothing to do with coaching. Hope they have some pride.
