Lakers offered M&M (Mike Miller) 30 million?
Source told FOXSports.com that Lakers gave Mike Miller a deadline of tonight. Miller's camp trying to receive more time.

That seems to be a pretty good deal for both parties, unless Miller decides to take less money for one of the teams that is trying to sign multiple max free agents. Wouldn't mind seeing them get another PG for a minimum contract as well, especially if this is going to be Phil's last year.

yep he is just another cancer in the lakers organization.dont know if miller will florish in the triangle.he needs to be in a run and gun offense.and like i said artest is a cancer and his experiment is over, had his worst year ever with lakers last year and dont expect it to get any better

You don't expect artest to get any better? He's still gonna be a solid defender. He will understand the triangle and how to move around in it. Even Jackson said that Artest didn't understand what he was supposed to do in the triangle offense. I'd expect him to be better.

The LA Lakers have reportedly offered Wizards' guard Mike Miller a multi-year deal worth $30 million with a deadline to accept or pass tonight.

Miller has talked for months about how much he wants to be a Laker, he has an offer in hand to make that happen.

Both, wasn't he on the Timberwolves??? Either Phil Jackon knows something we don't or he is getting too old to make decisions.

Mike Miller grew up about 50 miles from me this kid is a class act and will do well with the organization, when he was 14 scored 34 points against another team this guy has it to be a star

While I can't disagree with that statement, Artest does put LA in really bad positions some times. Kind of like Rodman did for the Bulls. But at the end of the day, I guess Artest is worth it in the end. (We know Rodman was)

i'd take mike miller over most of the laker bench right now. they won a championship in spite of their bench, let's not forget that.

well, i don't either, honestly. you'd think they could get someone else better for less, but he would still be a good addition to the bench.

Mike Miller is a good addition to the Lakers. They lacked a consistent bench this year, especially a bench that could consistently hit 3 pointers. However, he is not worth $30million dollars, especially considering the luxury tax the Lakers will be paying next year. Miller and Blake would make for ideal players off the bench for LAL. After these 2 pickups, the key would be to sign Fisher. Without Fisher, Lakers take a hit because then they'll be in the market for a PG who will be unfamiliar with the triangle. Give Fish the 4.5mil he's asking for and get the 3 peat.

Starting Lineup: Gasol, Bynum, Artest, Kobe, Fisher
Bench: Odom, Miller, Blake, Vujacic, Walton, and sign a couple of other big guys. (maybe their 2nd round draft picks?)

This gives Lakers some depth at the all positions while increasing their sharpshooting off the bench. This team would potentially be too strong for any "monster" team being built now in Chicago, NY, NJ, and Miami.

Miller should jump on this. The Lakers are bringing home another championship next year.
