    Don't get a single top free agent after they have tanked and shed payroll year after year for the last 3+ years... all this horrible basketball this franchise has put its fans through was suppose to be rewarded this summer...

    Lebron= 0 chance.
    Johnson= re-signing with ATL
    Bosh= will play with Lebron or Wade
    Amare= small chance

            Melo is still under contract... I bet he is trying to sign an extension early with the nuggets knowing they are going to be drastically reducing max contracts next year

              why would carmelo go to a team that is the worse ownership.management or coached in the nba.he wants to win a championship and the knicks have about the worse chance of that happenening.i think the cubs will win the world series before the knicks win any championship

                Everything Dolan touches turns to crap. Knicks will wind up overpaying for 2nd tier free agents and the cycle will start over again.

                    LeBron = 0 chance is just plain wrong!

                    Knicks are frontrunners to land him.

                                    I'm a die hard Knicks fan and even if they don't get LBJ they can still put together a decent team for next year. A team is about putting the right pieces together.

                                                    D'antoni plays a style that let's players put up big numbers and get paid well because of it. Stoudamire and Joe Johnson are examples. I don't think Johnson (not sure if Amare is either?) is really worth max contract money but they will get it. Either one could end up in NY. If NY doesn't get any top tier players then we will really see if the GM has a clue. If he over pays a bunch of mid level players again and dooms them for another 5-7 years. I kind of wish some crazy shit would happen and Clippers would end up with LeBron or some other top guy and give the Lakers a run.

                                                      I think Bron Bron returns to the Cavs. He doesn't want to live in Michael's shadow in Chicago, be second fiddle to D-Wade, be Kobe's little brother for the Clips or have to handle the ridiculous pressure he would encounter in NJ or NY. I see him wanting to get max money, winning in his home town, with the help of possibly Bosh or Amare.

                                                        Knicks are frontrunners to land him.

                                                        LOL. Are you serious, Frontrunners?

                                                          Time to Consider Plan B...

                                                          The New York Knicks left their meeting with LeBron James this afternoon expressing confidence in their pitch, they have continued their pursuit of Joe Johnson, despite a hefty offer in hand from the Hawks that the Knicks would be foolish to match.

                                                          With Rudy Gay off the market, and LeBron said to be leaning away from New York… where are the Knicks headed?

                                                          Sources close to the Knicks said this afternoon that they were not focusing solely on the top 3 or 4 guys in the 2010 class, and that they have reached out to Charlotte restricted free agent Tyrus Thomas, to their own free agent Al Harrington and that they have meetings plans with several other free agents this week.

                                                          The Knicks plan has always been to make a compelling pitch to some of the major named players, but sources said there is a real chance they are going to spend their money on several 2nd tier players and guys like Tyrus Thomas are absolutely on their radar.
