    Lakers consider pursuing Bell
The Los Angeles Lakers and guard Raja Bell(notes) will enter free agency with a strong mutual interest to reach agreement on a deal, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Kobe Bryant(notes) has become a strong advocate for Bell, a former nemesis. After missing most of the season with surgery to repair ligaments in his non-shooting wrist, Bell is still expected to be a coveted bench player among contending teams. He could give the Lakers another strong perimeter defender and a solid outside shooting threat.

LAL needs kwame brown to come off the bench to relieve bynum and gasol, he is worthless on offense but is a good low post defender

I'm down for Raja Bell. T-Mac and Raja were hurt this year and their old. Add Raja.

I remember when Karl Malone and Gary Payton teamed up with Shaq and Kobe, nobody thought they would lose and they lost in the finals.. Team chemistry is a must and anytime you make such drastic changes to a championship team, you have to wonder how a team will coexist.
Not to mention the fact that the Lakers should be adding youth.....

tmac is a loser, LA wants nothing to do with a guy like that,

Good luck to Raja Bell though. I remember when Larry Brown signed him to the Sixers off the playgrounds.
