I thought this game was well officiated. Boston shot themselves by giving the Lakers points without even attempting a shot. If that didn't happen or Fisher tying the game late, I think Boston wins.

I did the same. Put a token bet on Celtics just to jinx them. Sorry to all true Boston fans. I'm not a Laker fan either. (actually like Bulls) But I find it awful hard to want success for any team that has a total worthless human on it like Rasheed Wallace. Can't help it.

hey that's just what i think, i'm not asking for agreement.
if a few of the calls were different it would have been a different game.
Lakers needed all those 21 more FT attempts to win.

As a bettor it's my choice whether i want to bet money on games where subjective foul calls determine the outcome.

I couldn't believe how both teams were hammering each other and getting away with it. I remember as a little kid to just hack people on the arms to stop the shots to the basket and with no refs , no problems. I thought the NBA would be a little different, but it was ugly ball out there for a championship. No finesse on either side.

Lakers first 2 possessions, C's foul Gasol on shot, Bryant. They miss shots...no rebounding, they get away with fouls on Artest and Bryant got called for a fishy foul (blockn foul on ray allen). Lakers continue to attack the rim... Kobe raises up for a 3 and Ray Ray oops he keeps his hands in too close and fouls...

Boston only had 4 team fouls with 6 minutes to go...then

Boston still had a lead 64-61 with half a quarter to go and this is what happened. Fisher nailed a huge 3. C's miss a shot and Kobe grabbed the rebound and was fouled legit. Free throws... then the C's miss another shot can't rebound and Kobe raised up to the right of Allen and nailed a jumper. Lead now to 4... the rest was history and so were the old jump shooting 4th quarter Celtics who couldn't rebound
