My thoughts on Boston as of now for this series>

Boston has not had their offense in gear for the entire series , not even close....
I love the message Doc. sent to his starting 5 last night by replacing them with the bench,,they performed remarkably well by pulling a big W out with Bostons Championship lives on the line,with excellent play from Little Dynamite AKA(Nate Robinson) and Baby BOOM AKA(Glen Davis) actually these 2 should be in the starting line up or at least get more time on the court..
Kendrick Perkins IMO is a waste of space,I never really paid attention to his play until this series and it is down right awful at best in every category,if I was Doc this fukk would not be starting for sure..

Now,back to the message from Doc.> Just think about how the starters feel knowing they couldn't get the job done on offense when it counted all series long except for the outstanding record breaking performance Ray Allen had in game #2,,,the second Doc. gave them some splinters in their ass and time to think from being benched,,their replacements did the job they failed at 4 times to boot!

I don't know about you but if I was a starter for the Boston Celtics, I got the message loud and clear and that is if I'm not performing to expectations which I am paid for I will add, my coach will pull my ass from the floor without hesitation...........

Bottom line> Game 5 is when we will finally get to see what Boston is made of,, with a extra day to let the message marinate in their minds and practice their shooting accuracy the starters should be ready with a full metal jacket of arsenal by game time on Sunday..

The best team is Boston IMO,it is clear to me as glass now because they truly was not up to par this whole series and they still managed to tie the series 2-2 going into the 5th on their own wood to boot,like I said before guys defense is what wins championships and the Celtics are clearly better in this category but they must have some offense,, I think on Sunday you will see them as a whole and if they are,, look out Lake Show because you will not stand a chance...........

I do not believe Stern has a Favorite in this series if that is what you were hinting towards,because both of these teams are equal as far as the profit equation goes for the NBA,so it will be may the best team win and to me this is Boston with neon green lights blinking from all sides of the spectrum.....

pauly no nothing to do with stern at all. they did what they needed for tv and the nba pockets, that was to get 6 games+. now that we are here the officials will disappear hopefully. i live in boston and trust me i want the celtics to win as much as anyone. i have a future on them too for $100 (10 to 1). i just lean lakers cause i know that come sunday the bets will be on boston. line opened at 3.5 and went to 3. i will probably not bet the game, but i do like the lakers (betting wise) because i think the celtics win easy on sunday.

from 1980 to the present in 29 years to this year the yankees only won 5 times. better competion its proven you cant say that the lakers should be competing with the yankees when the league starting the steriod age the competion got stiffer and they only won 5 times. you cant date back and compare apples and oranges. they have 5 wins in the last 30 years. the lakers have 8 since 1980 30 year comparison the age of the athletes and the lakers have 8. the lakers are the better franchise as of a good 30 years ago!

Why would Boston allow Pierce to hold back or have some sort of master plan which involves Pierce under performing? Especially in games that ended up being so close.
