This guy wants it more than anyone else. Not only that,he uses his intelligence along with his athletic ability. He conducts himself like a real winner.Someone that kids can look up to.He put the "H" in the word hustle. Is he as talented as Kobe,LeBron? No.If I were to start a basketball team he would be in the top 3 in the NBA of players that I would pick. He's a real treat to watch and gets me psyched when he dives on the floor and outworks everyone. He brings a flash to the game with his ability to craddle the ball and deceive opponents.Pure brilliance

One of top 3 all around guards in the league, plus he is a winner.

I agree JJ.Being a winner, clutch, and with a good head on his shoulders is what it's all about.(Derek Jeter is a great example--Rondo has the same kind of make up)

                  Rudy,
                  Calm down little fella !

I wasn't bashing your thread. I was simply asking a question: is it same thread different day day (and did I miss the memo)?

Now, the answer is: Yes !

I do find interesting that there hasn't been another game played in the series since you made your Rondo post yesterday. So, I'm a little perplexed to understand another "I love Rondo" thread one day later when they haven't played another game in the series. But hey if you want to suck Rondo's nut sack every damn day, be my guest.

As far as the last quote of yours about replying but not starting posts...this just proves you are a lying sack of shit just like iifold...

he never stops being creative. thats the thing. like steve nash. when some guards get tired they dribble in circles or turn it over or make basic plays for decent looks for his teammates. but rondos mental energy is awesome he is always doing something different and the defense can never read him. such a good player now

Doc: When Kobe goes up for a three pointer and Rondo snatches the ball from behind my friend, that sh*t is worth 3 posts. He embarrassed him with his head's up play and quickness.Come to think of it,that one play at the end of the game(if you remember),is worth more than 3 posts when he embarrasses the best player in the game.
How about in the Orlando series when Jason Williams(a hustler himself) is yet again embarrased by Rondo's pure desire for the ball by chasing Williams down and diving on the harwood.
How about when Rondo tricked Gasol thinking that he was going one way and craddled the ball and took it to the hoop.----FANTASTIC!!!!!

I agree, Will! Guy is so fun to watch and plays so smart.

I posted the below in another thread because this piece from Bob Ryan of the Boston Globe captured exactly what I kept thinking about after the game the other night:

"He got a lot of publicity with that monstrous 29-point, 18-rebound, 13-assist triple-double against Cleveland, but this may have been the most impactful performance of his career. In what had to be considered an absolute “must’’ game, he was the maestro from start to finish, making plays that no other point guard alive can make.

                        Period.

Among his contributions once the Celtics found themselves behind, 90-87, with 5:21 remaining:

■A drive to make it 90-89.

■A pickup of a Gasol blocked shot and subsequent lefty layup to give the Celtics a nonrefundable 91-90 lead. (<--that was my favorite play)

                        ■A steal from Bryant.

■A great blocked shot on the estimable Fisher, who has made so many big ones in his illustrious career. (<--that was my second-favorite play)

■And the killer, a 17-foot jumper to make it 95-90, Boston, with 1:51 remaining.

He made the elbow shot,’’ said Rivers. “I’m thinking Mark Price is somewhere celebrating. He took a million shots this summer, and he didn’t hesitate, and that was my favorite shot for him.’’

Remember the basket that made it 93-90 in Orlando Game 2? Same shot. This is a new and improved Rajon Rondo.

Could this team have won a major playoff road game two years ago with Pierce (two layups, not one jump shot) and Garnett contributing so little offensively? You know the answer to that.
