Live betting can be extremely valuable, but its also a risk. e.g. if I like Boston +6 I might try to wait for LA to take a 6 or 7 point lead and try to get Boston +8. But if Boston takes the early lead and LA never takes a double digit lead, than you never get that chance.

Winning with live betting requires that you have a very good understanding of which side has the value at any given point in the game. That means capping the game accurately to start, understanding how each team plays the game, and understanding how to interpret the movement in live lines from timeout to timeout based on what's happening in the game.
