actually i think the lakers played great, boston played terrible but they had it around ten for awhile, boston wins game 2 or at least covers.

rondo stunk and pierce stunk in first half, and so many fouls

Game was changed when Ray Allen went out w/3 early fouls. Offensive spacing was horrible due to the fact that there were no outside shooters in the game other than pierce. Defense could collapse on the Rondo drive and dish at the same time b/call 5 celtics were inside of 16 feet.

On defense I think the adjustment will be to have Garnett keep a body on Gasol the whole game instead of helping on defense. Similar to Perkins worrying about Dwight Howard only. Or Pierce guarding James in Cleve series.

I do not believe game 1 would have mattered as the Lakers were the more prepared team last night. Just like any series, it is all about adjustments.

The calls a team gets at home are sometimes so comical.... The worst was early in the 3Q when bynum just lowered his head and swing his arms and stumbled into perkins and perk gets called for 3rd.

I saw nothing last nite that leads me to believe the Celtics will win the series. I am hopeful of a game 6 and return to LA but if things don't change that will be a stretch. True, Allen going down with foul trouble played a part but not 20+ pts in reality that was near the final.Boston made a push in the 4Q because they have pride and LA lost some intensity. The game was moreless dominated by LA and as long as Kobe keeps being Kobe and Gasol keeps adding his part Boston is in for it. I think many people here underestimated Boston heading into the Heat,Cavs,and Orlando series. At the same time many here are now overestimating them. The other teams mentioned did not have the best SG in the game and the best front line in the game.

The series is over, Lakers are champs and the rest of the games are just a formality. With that said the Celtics should cover the 6 in game 2. A lot of Celtics backers will probably be jumping ship and want to hop on the Lakers after their performance last night which makes it the right time to probably take the Celtics.

Gasol is on a mission, there should be less ticky tack fouls called.
Celtics keep this one alot closer but free throws from Kobe and company eek out a late cover.

by the Celtics last night. Based on their performance I am not going to trust them to cover. For me it is either LA or nothing.
