Well, "large" relative to my bankroll, which as you know got beat down pretty badly in the past few weeks. I made a small profit on Wednesday, a big one last night, and was pretty much even tonight, so I'm going to roll the dice with Phoenix and see what happens.
So "large" within the limits of my remaining profit for the season. I'm not mortgaging my kids or anything, though.

FTR, this is the first time I've backed Phoenix in this series. Took LAL in Game 1, didn't play Games 2 or 3, took LAL in Game 4 and only went under in Game 5 with a Suns lean.
I really think the Lakers might be in a little trouble here, and it's the first time I've felt this way. If Phoenix gets Game 6, all bets are off because I think they know -- and the Lakers know -- the Suns are capable of stealing Game 7. I wouldn't put a wager on the Suns in Game 7 if it got there, but for the first time, I'm feeling like it wouldn't stun me to see Phoenix take the next two.
Half on the Suns game TT over, shoe?

I've been feeling that way until the 2H last night. The tide was turning. Lakers were damn lucky to escape with a win. I'm still not convinced they have enough shooters to solve the zone D, and on the other side, Phoenix has a lot of weapons coming at you from all different directions.
Now of course, all this is moot if Kobe goes off -- which is a distinct possibility. But I'm really starting to wonder if they have enough firepower to finish this team off.

You have a good shot here. I have always said LAKERS are not a good road team this year.

That's true. Kobe got me a few times during the regular season, and he's probably due -- especially in this kind of spot.
I think it's going to be a hell of a game. I have Phoenix winning 112-106, but that's just me.

My only question is this: the Suns were -3/3.5 favorites in Games 3 and 4. Then they take LAL to the limit in Game 5. Now they're only -1/1.5 for Game 6?
Am I going to get blindsided with this bet?

I was leaning the Suns but now I'm going to wait for Donaghy's report. That fvkker's been spot on so far.

It's not like backing the Lakers is ever a bad call on paper. And I do admit the line is odd.

Good luck man. Suns are hard to beat at home. Lakers will try to close them out on the road though so I expect a close game.

Again, that 1.5 number is bothering me though. Why is it lower than Games 3 and 4?

Lakers have won their last 4 series (2009: Utah, OKC) (2008: Orl, Den) all by clinching the series winON THE ROAD.
Today is May 29, 2010. On May 29, 2009 the Lakers blew away the Nuggets in game 6 on the road.
Only the Rockets, in the first round last year avoided this...why? They beat them with DEFENSE.
The Suns, even if they win...can't hold LA under 100...which leads to very bad things when the Lakers play a closeout game on the road.

Can you let me know my chances too please?
This is why I hate this fvkking sport sometimes. It's just as bad as betting on Slovakian football.

I will buy it back if convinced.
I know full well the NBA is fixed/rigged. I don't like to "take my chances" with a bet if, for instance, Donaghy's calling Lakers in 6.

Never a good idea to go large vs the Lakers, it just seems too obvious that the Suns are going to win at home, but Lakers are good at breaking hearts in this situation. I'd rather go large on something else or save up.
GL regardless, at least the crowd is with you on this game which will make winning worth the enjoyment as well, hope you hit.

might take the suns big too. and i agree that it's weird line. with that line change its almost like saying they are homedogs here, IMO.
