Which lakers team will show up tonight?
Just wondering the thoughts of what everybody thinks about which lakers team plays tonight. I am pretty sure that Kobe will be Kobe and knock down shots but the real question is bynum, gasol, and if artest will play d. Thoughts?

Lakers coming off two playofff losses by big margins.. Tonight you get the angry Lakers who put on for their city, double digit win.

That was kinda the way I was leaning, as long as Nash hits shots and doesn't get his face completely ripped off(which even then he probably would still play). Makes me nervous though that the suns depended so much on there bench. But I do like the energy that Dudley and "dragon" bring to the game. I say suns cover, whether they win depends on the bench and who they have matched up on Amare. Gasol can't stop em but I think odom could not stop, but control Amare.

Bench players don't shine on the road, be very careful if you are just betting on the Subs bench tonight.

On a side note, the angry Kobe face makes me laugh everytime he does it.

I agree with you jones, it is hard to look past 54 points coming off the bench though. If the bench shows up suns win or at least cover, if they don't then the suns won't even come close. BUT just like you said, bench usually doesn't show on the road. In a small way though, I would think that te suns want this more than the lakers team as a whole, besides kobe. The suns are the ones that were told they could never do it and now they are trying to prove they can. Is that enough for the lakers, prob not, but very well could be.

Heard that! My local gave me the suns +8.5 because he is stacked with lakers bets.

The game is in Staples, there's your answer. The question should be, what Phoenix team will show up? They were fortunate to win both games at home.

For me it would be hard game for lakers.
I like they in first quarter only but not the same in the half and FT

The Lakers simply played with a real lack of intensity games 3 and 4. Their perimeter defense was absolutely PATHETIC. La is struggling against the zone and guarding the paint when certain players are out there, they aren't rotating and helping out each other. LA was brutally out-rebounded last game. Also Bynum is not 100% and Robin Lopez looks like an all-star. Btw I remember SportsTerminator laughing at me about 6 months ago when I was trying to explain to him that Lopez was a quality talent and just needed a little tim in the pros and the kid posted Robins career stats and was laughing, shit aint so funny now is it?

The question to me is: which PHX bench will show up?

In the last game the Phoenix bench dominated the Lakers starters for most of the 4Q. That was not the first time the bench had played at that level. In game 3 of the previous series, on the road, the Suns bench completely outplayed the Spurs starters. As mentioned before, the Suns bench would be a playoff team in the East.

But... as good as the Suns bench can play, they were missing in action in the first two games in LA. If the Phoenix bench does show up and plays another top game, the Lakers have almost no chance. But if it's mostly the Lakers starters against the Suns starters, then the Lakers have the edge.

I see no reason why Phoenix doesn't cover again. Kobe is like the only guy on that team that can shoot from the perimeter, while the entire Phoenix squad can hit three's at will.

Phil Jackson is 18-0 in game 5's at home in the NBA Playoffs. Jackson coming off of 1 or 2 losses is 18-0 at home.

I also believe that Phil Jackson never blew a 3-1 playoff series lead, until Phoenix took care of that in 2006. Always a first time for everything.
