They'd be fools not to play zone again.

But LA should have it figured out. Lakers win tonight behind a big night from Kobe despite not getting any rest in the 2H a mere 2 nights ago.

Zone D is great when you mix it in with conventional man to man, but it has weaknesses as well, and when you can attack from the inside using two of the best big men in the NBA (particularly Gasol), it's not going to stop the Lakers for long.

You would have figured that the Lakers should have been able to make an in-game adjustment, especially during halftime, to the zone defense. I mean, they have played together long enough to have faced this before. Well, they didn't show it. But I do, however, expect them to be better prepared for the zone tonight and will be able to score at will again. I expect a higher scoring game with the Lakers pulling it out at the end.
