I agree with this, even though I don't think Barnes is 100%.

VC is all glitz and no substance. Barnes is the exact opposite.

vince carter is not a winner, it is part of the reason the magic are not winning this series. this guy is suppose to be the difference vs turkaloo-loo. sorry it isn't happening. vince is my guy for dunking, not winning. if i owned a team i would never pick him like the fat kid that never gets picked.

The thing with Carter is that you write him off, and he'll surprise you. His 1-9 was pathetic, but I won't be shocked to see a 29-6-6 statline in game 5 including huge shots down the stretch to push the series to a 6th gm

That's why I figured he'd shine last night, given the pressure was totally off. That's when he's usually at his best -- when his team has zero expectations.

Vince Carter has never been any good. Just ask anyone in Toronto or New Jersey.

The uninformed public outside of those cities was fooled by the media. He is not a good player and never has been.

The only problem I have with this statement is VC has tons of talent and athletic ability. He just isnt a winner

yup VC is going to show up in game 5 ... they didn't need him for 4 and i think he knew it.. he will get more mins tomorrow and i think the magic blow out the Celtics to be honest.. look at the celtics right now catching +4.. boy oh boy the public is going to pound that line!!!!

he was a winner in college, its just being stuck on the putrid raptors to begin his career showed him how to lose (and not win) in the nba. who knows if he had been drafted by a team like san antonio instead how different a player he would be
