actually best case scenario for Vegas would be Orl winning this game, taking a loss, then Boston taking game 7 on the road while everyone and their moms bet Orl game 7.

I have seen 3 blatant fouls on howard and no call and then see the puzzy celtics fall down with a small bump and keep getting the calls. I just need to figure out which fix I need to take.

Question though, do you think the fix is all in the refs or do you think players are in on it too. I would think that if you are going to fool most of the public then you have to fix it with the refs and not with any players. What are your thoughts on that.

For instance Fly,,,, You saw Boston as a team or certain parts of the team intentionally throw game 4,,but they expected to win game 5 but you saw what happen which was the Ref's stepped in and did every thing under their power to stop that from happening and it did,,why do you think they lifted the suspension on Perkins for tonight's game??? Exactly they knew they were out of line with their extreme actions of controlling game 5 but this is what they were paid to do.................

Yes but it also makes it discouraging for me to even try and bet these games. I coach high school football and I teach kids to play for the love of the game then you see this kind of crap happen in the pro's. I have lost 3/4 of my bankroll from either betting the celtics or betting against them and will probably have to give this up for a while if not for good.

I look at the Laker game for instance. The lakers should cover and win, but will probably be pushed to a 7th game so that boston can rest their injured players. At least I would think that if vegas and stern want the best scenario, then force a game 7 with LA so Boston can rest. A rested Boston has the best chance of winning the NBA Championship. Am I right? And if I am the best thing I can do with the rest of my bankroll is to put it on the Phoenix money line. ????

okay I will wait till then but reading what you have written earlier it seems like the best scenario is for Phoenix to win. Right now my book has phoenix ML at -120 which isn't bad but I fear that it wil go up as the line should go higher for Lakers so people will think lakers cover causing more money to go on the Lakers. It can change in an instant this is why you must be very patient because if you place your wager even a half hour before the game and you go back at tip off to look at the Line movement and if it changed opposite of your play you will already know you have lost unless an absolute miracle happens........................

To possibly save myself from getting into a long discussion, what are you basing most of these accusations on? Accusing players of throwing games is your biggest one, considering the strong reasons NBA players have *not* to throw games and the lack of any players alleging that this is going on.

Give a few examples, then. The NBA officials manipulating games to make series go longer is believable based on what I've seen on T.V. and Donaghy's accusations, considering he was on the inside.

Players get paid so much just to play now that it's an extraordinary claim to say that most any given professional is manipulating games for gambling purposes. Also, if the NBA wants big market teams to advance more often, it can change/abolish the draft, cap rules and trade rules, which currently mostly benefit small market teams. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
