LOL we used this same bullshit when i used to work for the clippers.. we told everyone that Kobe was coming.. He wanted to stay in LA but couldn't stand playing with Shaq.. and Sterling is sooo soo rich after buying up all that property after the riots.. well don't count on sterling parting with his money... he doesn't want to win.. just make money.. and that's what the clippers do make him money.. Courtside back in 05 for lakers was like 89k for the season.. clippers same seat was like 12k.. people who are nba fans and want to watch the other teams come to clipper games...

Uhhh, yes it is. There's this thing called a "salary cap".

BTW, no one can offer as much in terms of salary as Cleveland.

New York and LA could offer more in terms of off-the-court opportunities though.

Why do people think that players can just be paid whatever someone decides? There is a max for a reason. Cleveland can pay him the most. LeBron can't even get $40 million/year from the Cavs...

Uh, actually 40 Million IS out of the question. Simply because it exceed max Contract Value -- Money had no bearing on where James goes as any team will give him the maximum allowed deal (whihc i think starts a about 15m/year, escalates 10%/year for 5 years which comes out to about 5/90, Cleveland is the only team that can offer him more years, and a slightly higher 1st year deal i believe which comes out to about 6/122)

Not to mention, if you follow basketball at all, You would know Sterling hates to spend money, has poor basketball knowledge and refuses to accept that he does,

LA is intriguing. Would they grab John Wall if they find themselves with the No. 1 pick??? I would not mind him going to the Nets either if they got Wall. Him, Wall and Lopez would be a great start. Maybe add Bosh as well. That team would kill it.

clippers are one of the worst, if not THE WORST, franchise in the NBA. lebron would never tarnish his name to the point of going to the clips, no way. they have terrible management, staff and ownership

But if he goes to the Knicks and doesnt win right away he will be absolutely killed by the media and fans.

If anyone feels that there was pressure on him in Cleveland to win this year (and if that affected him at all) the pressure in NY will be magnified beyond imagine, especially once he starts branching out to the the opportunities that will be available to him in NY (which would be the main reason he would go there)
