did you see the terrible play by the magic the entire first half and the points were still so high. the magic have to play a tiny tiny bit better and the celtics can even amp down some and this reaches the weak vegas total of 188.5!! are you kidding me!!!!!

correction i just checked the number is 189!!! if you can get it at 189 then more power to you!!!! the magic will hit some of those missed 3's. howard will get hacked all day and shoot a ton of free throws and boston has verterans that want to win. They wont lay down!!! there will be all sorts of points!!!! lay a big numbr and take the over!!!!!

If it goes OVER it would be barely. This is 2 of the top defensive teams in the NBA. Howard hacked all day doesn't mean more points. Hes not a very good free throw shooter so Boston wants to send him to the line. When they foul that guy they foul him hard too so no follow up. They arent gonna let him finish it like hes use to. I see this game being a lock down and dirty type game. Orlando is gonna be struggling to hit there threes this whole series. They count on the double team on Howard to open up the perimeter. Perkins can hold Howard all on his own and doesn't need the help so Celtics dont have to run around chasing the ball here. This is a defensive battle.

I pedict 171 total pts. for the under. You could also parlay Orlando ML with Over and under for a small profit. ( if your book allows )

These teams are both better on defense than they are on offense. Magic are the #1 ranked FG% defensive team in the NBA. They are 4th in points allowed.

Boston was 5th in points allowed and only 19th in points scored. Both teams like a very slow pace. However both teams usually shoot very well too.

Orlando in the playoffs have gone over 2 times compared to 6 unders. And the Hawks are not nearly the defensive team Boston is.

Boston is about even in the playoffs in over/unders but they all have been low numbers.
