Amare is a huge problem for LA. Odom is too weak to guard him, Gasol not good enough footwork, Artest is far too slow. Fisher can't guard Nash- at some point in this series I expect Artest to guard Nash and Phil will see how he fairs. No one on Suns can guard Bynum. Gasol will get his offensively. Lakers bench is weak- no mismatches there. Artest and J rich will go at it.

Tell me where you find a mismatch in LA's favor besides Bynum and maybe Gasol offensively. Teams thrive against the Suns when you can exploit Nash- never in a million years will Fisher get the better of Nash
      Please explain this ridiculous statement.

I do agree with Amare being a big problem and the Suns having a better bench. From there though I am not as concerned with the matchups. For this Laker team it is about Phil designing a gameplan to allow each person to play their roles so the team functions as a unit and that is where they have the biggest advantage.
Where did I write down that grant hill is a kobe stopper? In fact, I stated: "Kobe is unstoppable."

Lakers look vernerable, with all the INJ's. Gotta take the points today.

If Jazz can cover, then Suns can cover.

Grant Hill prides himself on defense. Grant Hill is actually the heart and soul of this team--not Nash, not Amare. Grant fukkin Hill. Hill has taken this team from just a playoff team to a contender because of his defense. Coaches who have every coached Hill- Gentry (DTROIT) and Doug Collins say Grant Hill is their favorite player they ever coached because of his effort.

Kobe has shit on everyone who's guarded him this playoffs thus far. No one has the will to guard Kobe in 7 games. Hill will accept the challenge. He knows this is his 1 task throughout the series.

EDIT- Also LB- what is Phil going to do when the Suns go with an Amare/Fry front court. Is he going to leave Bynum in the game and dare Gentry to play Lopez/Amundson? Or is he going to have to go with Odom. Because we both know that neither Gasol or Bynum can guard Frye

Please quit saying Kobe is the best closer of all time. Kobe is my favorite player by far and 2nd favorite ever but come on MJ is was and will always be the best closer ever.

                Gl tonight everyone.

Grant Hill is an above average defender, but he's not the best Kobe faces. Ever heard of Shane Battier?

I never said Jordan and Pippen were better, but certainly comparable. You severely underrate Pippen.

The lakers have only one disadvantage and that is a weaker bench. You can analyze the shit out of the series but LA has the better top 6 out of the 2 teams and has more experience and the will to win. As for Nash he will be watching Fisher hit a game winning shot after dominating fish all series long. The lakers know how to win while the suns would like to win. Big difference.
was lopez such a big part of the offense like jameer nelson was? hes probably the fifth option on the court. come on, him coming back doesn't do shit to team chemistry

Never would of thought Grant Hill would be the difference maker in this series.

If he is, it sure would be the talk of the NBA.

If the Suns were to advance to the Finals, they will desperately need Lopez.

I'm seeing a chemistry issue tonight since he hasn't played in almost 2 months.

Lopez rebounds, and blocks shots. What does chemistry have to do with that? He has no plays run for him, and basically gets out of the way, then crashes the boards after a miss.

Lopez does not dominate, and is never depended on to dominate the ball for the SUNS.

Team chemistry relies on Nash being in the game. Nash plays the offense is fine.

Yeah.. the remaining teams in the playoffs have legitimate big men. This isn't the Blazers and Spurs. They'll need a big body, although they have been doing well without one.

Shaq is ass, you know Shaq is ass.

You know who was starting for Lopez?? Jared Collins, and he is ass also. They really cant get any worse, with a better player coming back.

Now if he isnt 100%, then you have a point. But Lopez is taking the place of an inferior player in Collins, is an upgrade all around.

It'll be a great game. We'll see right away how Gentry slips Lopez in the rotation. May or may not be bad. The Suns will eventually need him though.
