Yesterday was one of the most embarrassing sport moments I have ever witnessed in my life as a sports fan from the last 15 years. We all saw one of the best athlete's on the planet playing worst than an average street ball player while his teammates didn't step it up when he needed them the most, his coach didn't do a single strong move when he needed them the most and the fans couldn't stop their emotions and booed louder than I probably ever heard in what might have been the last home game of their best player ever.
Game 6 tomorrow, is going to be one of the most important sporting events of our time in my opinion. If you like it or not, what LeBron did in his 7 year career is something that only a few have done in any sport when you look at numbers. Yes the Cavs played pathetically, the Cavs should have been down 4-0 and out the way they have played this series, but what LeBron did and the skill he has is something that no one probably ever had in the game. One thing he didn't show yesterday is a killer look. I could never imagine Jordan or Kobe letting their team get destroyed yesterday like that, yes they lost by big numbers, but they never looked like they don't want to be there like LeBron, and as a LeBron fan, I can't explain what the hell happened.
So why is this game so important? well ... a lose will end the Cavs season which were the #1 team until yesterday in everyone's mind, and going out at the semi-final against a team that many didn't even think will pass Miami or that easily at least, with the best player on the planet, if you like it or not. A loss tomorrow will take LeBron's claim, or the publics claim that he is the new Jordan, 5 years back and he will need to do so much more to even be considered again when only 2 weeks back it was an obvious thing to everyone.
LeBron's real problem is - his team. Players like: Mo, Shaq, Jamison, Parker, Big Z, Varejao, Hickson and other's is a team that should steamroll a team like the Celtics when the King plays 60% of his true skill. But those players didn't play well two games in a row since the playoffs started, and I think they are the real story. If they loose game 6, most of these players are done, they will stay at the Cavs or get low contracts in weak teams. It seems they don't understand the opportunity they have. They can win a title and change their career or make their career better and who knows maybe make the King stay on their team. Yes Shaq is a hall of famer no matter what happens he doesn't need this title or LeBron for that, but I'm sure he is the first one to say that the TEAM needs to wake up.
I can promise you all LeBron is going to come ON FIRE game 6, but without his team he is done. The Celtics in my opinion are not the better team, but they are playing right, DOC is doing an amazing coaching job, the big three played very stable and correct and even with Rondo as a no-show they destroyed the Cavs because they are a TEAM, the Cavs are not.
This may be too late for the Cavs to wake up, but don't count the Cavs out yet, this game is HUGE for them and if I could guess what is going to happen before the game at the locker room, I would guess Shaq and LeBron going crazy to wake up their players, because really Brown has no power of doing so, one of his biggest downfalls as a coach.
I will make a bold (or dumb) prediction which can look stupid after game 5. Cavs win series in 7. I just think LeBron is so much better than any player on these teams and he wants it so badly that I think game 6 will be a turning point, because tomorrow is the most important game in Cavs history!!!
