    Lakers/Suns Series Hedge Question
Lakers are at -330 and Suns at +265 at my book. Anyone think this might be time to jump all over LA at that price. I've been waiting for the best time to hedge my Phoenix future ($200 to win $10000 at +5000) for the Championship. If the Suns happened to win a game in LA, would that improve my situation enough to bother waiting or should I get all over the -330 now while I can. I have very little hedging experience and would like some advice. Thanks

Suns started the season extremely well and I thought +5000 seemed liked pretty good value at the time. The bet was made three weeks into the season, so it was risky, but sometimes you just gotta go with your gut.

I really should be putting at least 2K on LA I think, that way if the Suns made it through I would be able to hit the Cavs or Magic with another 6-7 K and still have 1-2K in my pocket if the Suns go the whole way. Does this seem wise to anyone?

Even still, I can't put more than $2000 on the Lakers because I have to keeps reserves to cover the lost $2000 if the Suns pull off the impossible.

I would wait until the Suns actually make the finals. If you keep hedging against them, if the suns actually win, you'll be kicking yourself for chasing -330 bets which need a lot of money to make it worth it. If the suns beat LA, great, if they don't, you're out $200. If the Suns have to play Orlando, I would hedge to win about half as much if the suns lost as when they won.

The $200 was my MLB winnings from last year so in a sense, I wont be out of pocket at all. I've been toying with the idea of just letting it ride and praying for a miracle from the Suns. Stranger things have happened....haven't they?

I got then in Vegas at +1500 at the end of last month during the 1st round. I will be doing some hedging.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS CHUMP....

Future Bets placed early in the season are sucker bets unless u hedge properly...I wont tell you what to do with you cash but i would deff hedge according to how you feel the playoffs will go...If u think the lakers are headed to the finals then put a large sum on the Lakers Series Price...If you think the Suns continue to the finals then put a small hedge on the lakers...Just make sure your guaranteeing your self a nice payday....shouldn't be too hard...nice bet btw had a similar play for the Thuggets

hedge now before LA goes up 2 nothing which is likely to occur as they have blown out the Suns at home
