at first glance, i think the total is set too high! this will be the first time that the suns open up a series on the road. i strongly believe the pace will be dictated by the lakers which really bodes well for the under to hit! i dont think the lakers would wanna go on a shootout against these surging suns!

about the sides, 7 pts is a lot of points to be laying in this first game. a 'feeling-out' game 1 and lakers have to win by 8 or more? im not quite sold on this! i expect the line to go down in the next few days only to go back up to -7 or higher once the late Hollywood money comes in.

You are probably correct with your lean on the Suns..The Lakers have won game 1's so far but have started slow and won in less convincing fashion. However, the Lakers have turned into the Lakers and they are a real headache to bet against if they show up.

Sun's are playing great and this is probably there best team in recent memory. I really like the team and they have made me a ton of money as they have changed to a decent defensive team that can still score the ball. The Suns team also has alot of chemistry. The Suns will need to continue to play at a high level to just cover the spread.

As well as the Suns have played make no mistake about it... The Lakers will wipe the Staples floor with them if that is what they want to do. The Suns have no answers for what the Lakers can do offensively, but the Lakers do have answers for the Suns.

All in all I hope the Suns hang with LA to make it an entertaining series. Key word 'hope'

Lakers -6.5 looks like a solid bet.The suns are to small to hang with the lakers, and they got beat bad at the games in LA.Unless the suns can force the lakers to play an uptempo style of ball they dont have much chance to win the series.
