I saw a small part from the book that Donaghy was attempting to write. He said some refs would have a pool amongst each other to see who could go the longest without calling the first foul. I also remember him talking about certain refs and how they would favor certain teams/coaches.

B.S. You don't know that. A few bad calls at bad times can be back breakers and a few good calls can really get you going, especially for a team filled with mental midgets like the Hawks.
