    Jazz ML -145
I'll pay juice to stay away from the spread.

Lakers are one of the more arrogant teams in the NBA, and I see them not giving the same type of performance in this close out game.

    D. Fish, and Artest are not going for 20 each again. If they do it would break all historical trends, and I will accept that loss.

What historical trends are you referring to? I looked back at all the second rounds since 2004..........going into a game 4 with a 3-0 lead, the team in the lead has closed the series 3 times, and the team trailing in the series has extended it twice.

Hmm, I'm mixed. I know the Laks are able to win the game (and fairly handily) but do they want to do this enough to get the sweep and all. I mean do they really care about the rest, etc or are they going to play with Utah for a while longer. Thinking Utah wins with the spread but I may lay off, depending on how the day plays out. Cheers all

Look at the sentence B4 it, I'm talking about D Fish, and Artest going for 20 each.

Please feel free to read the paragraph as a whole.

I have to play devils advocate here. I can easily see D Fish and Artest go for 20 each before I see Kyle Korver going 9-10 and 5-5 from 3 pointers with 23 points in only 24 minutes like he did last game. He was the ONLY reason that game was close.

Do you also really see Bynum scoring ZERO points again like he did last game , Gasol only scoring 14 points, Odom going 2-6, LA scoring 17 points in the 1Q, or the LA bench shooting 33% again?

Don't lay the -145 ML, just take them for the spread if you think they are going to win. Also, remember PHX just swept the Spurs. LA knows PHX is going to be rested up for the next series so I can easily see LA trying pretty hard to win tonight to make sure that PHX doesn't have more time to get prepared/rested for the next series.

Don't know about the Lakers arrogance, but either way it will take alot of pride for Utah to win tonite to force a game in LA... You could tell from Utah's reaction after the game 3 loss they knew it was just mathmatical going forward. However, they are at home and if anybody can get them to play it's Sloan.. Thing is they better have a nice lead going to the 4th because if the Lakers are close late they will go for the kill. i wouldn't take Utah.. They were a better bet Saturday nite and failed us then.

It's not a bad idea really, but it made more sense the other nite and trust me I played them and lost. Had the ML and spread. Utah is one of my favorite teams to bet, but the Lakers are just focused and if they are close they will go for the kill late and try to wrap it as they should with the Suns resting. Problem is I can't see Utah pulling away unless Lakers decide to not show up which is not a good bet right now.

Personally, I am going to skip this game and get my free chicken dinner on the Majic

Lakers already figured out these jokers. If they are focused and want to get it done they'll win it.

Yea jazz might make them struggle a lil bit but I would be more confident in a first half bet on Jazz than for the whole game.

Still like the Lakers to close this out. Yeah, Fish and Artest won't go for 20pts, but they will re-establish their inside dominance with Gasol/Bynum/Odom. Last game, the Lakers didn't do too much with their bigs and still won. They now have confidence from both inside and outside. I figure a sweep is in order.

I've been tossing this game around. I believe the point is solid that since Suns swept.. Lakers will do the same, they want to be rested since suns will be. i've taken the Lakers every game this series but tonight I also think Utah will
pull off one more home win. I can see the lakers holding back in the 2nd half
if things aren't going their way.. meaning they will not risk injury or go balls to the wall. plus the NBA may want another game in LA.
All these sweeps are not good for ticket sales.
Utah under is my lean and i may lay the spread

LAL are 1-8-1 ATS in their last 10 Mon. games.
Under is 12-5 in LAL last 17 games as an underdog.

Utah: UTA are 26-10-2 ATS in their last 38 home games.
UTA are 27-11 ATS in their last 38 Mon. games.

Head to Head: Under is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings.

pull off one more home win.

UTA are 27-11 ATS in their last 38 Mon. games.

Head to Head: Under is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings.[/quote]

                                                    But 0-3 in this series.

Jazz will win... They know the series is over but will not get swept in front of their home fans

With what you just said sweetjones I agree with everything pointed out. Lakers ML is the bet for me tonight

LA won the game 3 by 1 point and after 2 missed attempts by UTAH in the final seconds. So its not like LA dominated them, UTA could have easily won that game. Utah is not getting swept tonight and I think they are going to win by 10.

Its fisher and artest scoring 20 and gasol getting 14pts with 17 reb that I gotta worry about.
