That's definitely a trap play. Spurs play great at home, especially in the playoffs. Suns haven't been a great road time, so even with all the points I'd take the Spurs. I also like the under.

here what i know about spurs. spurs start out the season as consider best team to start out the season while the sun was questionable can they even make to the play off but done nice run since January making a 35 8 run.

I agree with you for the most part, trap is when a line looks way too good. Reasonably you would expect SA -3.5 or something, hence the trap. BUT if it was SA -3.5 all the Spurs backers would think THAT may be a trap, weee mindfuks

Suns tend to sleepwalk in certain games in the playoffs. I think this will be one of them. The veteran Spurs know how important this is and I think they will perform accordingly. Look for a blowout in tonight's game with a let down in game 4 that may put the suns in a 3-1 series lead.

4-6 point spreads always look great , but it's not that hard to cover 7 in the NBA

especially when the team behind by 3-5 points has to start fouling in the last minute ... here is break down of this year's playoff games, 51 so far..

win by 10 or more - 26 games 51%
win by 7-9 - 12 games 23%
win by 4-6 - 5 games 10%
win by 1-3 - 8 games 15%
so we have 38 games 78% that have been won by 10 or more...

what you need to do is figure out who is going to win the game, a spread of less than 7 is only going to come in to play 25% of the time... if you really like the SUNS bet 75% of your pot on ML and 25% on +6.5...

i kinda disagree with you balman. i believe what to figure out why the line is where it is. the line explain a lot about a games. odd maker are smart people. sometime they are very sharp on the line to get the public even since that their goal. in the end they make mistake since they are still people that where public take advantage. another thing look at line is this give away line. since odd maker can't get money if they can't get bet in. Another thing to look at is how sharp the line is. Some game you not suppose to touch reason. Odd maker want some game not to be touch so they set perfect line.

if you take suns in hoping they lose but cover, it's just not worth it imo. they just dont know when to give it up, they will keep fouling as long as they have timeout n even 2pt game with 1 min remaining can make spurs cover because if spurs r leading, i can imagine they manage to defend suns 3s n in these dying seconds, those 3s will most likely fail again with spurs getting free points.
