Orlando ran up the score. They were up 41 points after three quarters in game 1, and continued to fight for every ball. That is very unusual in the NBA. And it is definitely considered disrespectful by players around the league. You just don't do it. With a few minutes left Atlanta had the deficit down to 36, but Orlando insisted on rubbing it in and won those last minutes by 7 points, fighting for every ball as if the game depended on it. It shows how inexperienced Orlando is. If they had won the game by 30 points, Atlanta would have been down on themselves. But by this total disrespect, Orlando handed Atlanta a better motivation than any coach could ever provide. It wouldn't surprise me if Atlanta wins game two.

I would think they were disrespectful if they left their starters in. But with seldom used players from both team, the 4Q is like a new game to them. I see nothing wrong to for them to play hard to show they deserve more minutes in future.
