Spurs close tonight and win the series. Pop won't let this go to game 7.

either Mavs or Hawks will reach a game 7. The association needs it.

Mavs were 27-14 on the road in reg season. Dallas just missed in games 3 & 4 at SA, so they are due to get it right tonight. Also, I think the refs might give them a few calls tonight to help extend this series to Game 7. My cash is on the Mavs.

I like Spurs in this situation. Only thing worries me though is that Spurs allowed themselves to be in a huge hole during game 4. Dallas allowing Butler to be main scorer also confuses Spurs, so I hope Spurs knows how to counter that.

Mavs have been competitive in San Antonio. Now that Caron Butler has made an appearence they certainly have huge chance to force a Game 7.

i'll give the counter argument since im one to believe that mavs force game 7 and complete the comeback:

do we really believe the nba wants san antonio to win? stern already had to live with the spurs winning 3 titles this past decade (granted this series doesn't decide a championship) and not only stern, but i would say most of us hate the spurs slow tempo, half court, boring gameplan....would stern prefer to have the fast paced, exciting suns (assuming they win the series which seems like thats what the nba wants) play the old boring spurs, or would they want the mavs to complete the upset and play the suns and have the Dirk/Nash best friends headline, Kidd 'x' sun/nash 'x' mav , and even shawn marion 'x' sun storyline would be a little interesting .... what does stern have to lose? a suns/mavs series will be much more entertaining than sun/spurs imo ..and if stern hates cuban that much, he only has to let him out of the first round, its not like cuban is gonna win an nba title if he gets by the spurs in the first round...

Dallas is the common sense favorite but the Spurs have been playing better than they really are so the real question is will they continue? or sputter into defeat?

Honestly I don't think any of it matters uanl because someone has to beat the Lakers and I don't see that happening. As a basketball fan, I'd much rather see the Spurs move on. Are you telling me that the Mavs moving on would make a difference in the ratings? Personally, I don't think it would. Spurs, Mavs, Suns, whoever it doesn't matter - none of these teams are bringing in more of an audience. The Lakers and Cavs are what people want to see.

I like a small bet on the Mavs +170. I agree with the need for a game 7. That being said, I dont really trust it.
