Absurd how many fouls were being called late in a 30-point game.

Shoe, look at the box score. Look at the FT's late in the game. Look at how much it went over by.
I didn't play it -- backed off at the last minute because I saw Sawyer was on the over. But 109 points in the 2nd half of a 30-point game between two defensive minded teams? Come on.

Yeah it's complete BS. I'm thinking about trying to recover some by playing Atlanta tomorrow (spread).

look at the condition: the game was pretty much decided, even tacos for crowd was guaranteed.. all 3 other games have gone under, talking about books balancing.. what else to expect from game like this?

So you're telling me you capped this game correctly if you were on the over 194 of a 55-34 game at halftime that turned into an even bigger blowout 2H?
Uh, OK.

When a game gets out of control/if you think it's going to get out of control early, a fix for the over/under are always possible. thats why its much better to try and cap totals that you think aren't going to be absolute blowouts.
but besides from that the calls were pretty consistent throughout the game, coulda been less at the end, but OKC was shootin like 30 percent throughout that whole game its only the law of averages they had 42 shots at the half i think or 44 and went to the line a bunch of times okc was trying to still play up tempo but la just played perfect halfcourt, so okc was getting more shots pretty much w second chance and higher tempo=more shots per minute.

Ya everyone was excited for playoffs but just like NFL, CBB, and now NBA the lines are sharper and it's really much harder to cap (granted this is my first year and I'm still a noob).
I've been destroying bases so I'm just totally confused. I actually find totals much easier to do then lines this season in the NBA. The playoffs is a whole other thing. Fouls calls in the NBA are completely subjective and can easily be argued both ways in most cases. The only thing that comes close to this much subjectiveness in sports are calls in the NFL (holding, pass int, etc).
At this point I just enjoy watching but unless I see a good edge or get a lakerboy play off the year I'm laying low

It was not a jab at you. It was a jab at the OP who loosed this bet.
