    Tuesday's Western Conference Matchups
I'm liking Dallas and the Lakers to both win big Tuesday.

Dallas is in a must-win situation and will be back at home. They're going to come out firing and might win this game by 20. Ginobili wasn't the same player the other night with the nose injury and the Spurs needed an outstanding effort from George Hill to get the win. I think Spurs come back and win game 6 at home to take the series but I really like Dallas to roll here in Game 5. I'm thinking a 101-82 type of a game.

As for the Lakers, I'm not quite as sure about this one but after that beatdown from OKC the other night, the Thunder will certainly be due for a letdown. There's a good chance the Lakers come out with a chip on their shoulder and try and show the Thunder who is boss. Once again, this game could be a 20-point win for the home team. I would also expect the Thunder to force a game 7, but for this game I think we see a Lakers rout.

    Good luck and thoughts/discussion please

There's no way Dallas is winning this game by 20...

Hill and Ginobli aren't the only offensive weapons the Spurs have... The distribution of scoring in the series among Spurs players has actually been very good, with Duncan, Parker, Hill, Ginobli, Jefferson all making significant contributions. As long as the Mavs let the Spurs play half court basketball and rely on Dirk's jump shooting, they're done. They have to run tomorrow to win, and Butler & Marion need to get involved early and often. The Mavs ability to play their game in this series has been severely limited by suffocating Spurs defense that can weather the storm when Dallas pushes without giving in.

The Spurs aren't a young team riding emotion. They're a veteran team with an amazing coach and they won't take their foot off the gas for a second in this series. Dallas, on the other hand, has had problems all year at home. Their average margin of victory at home is only 1.8ppg, second lowest among playoff teams (average is 6.7ppg among playoff teams) and one of only two teams in the NBA this season that actually has a negative home court "advantage" (Philly was the other one).

Be careful with the Mavs. They're frauds...

The mavs are frauds, I agree. They're going out early in the playoffs again this year but tonight I see them being able to dictate the style of play. The spurs won last game with an incredible third quarter and being able to hang on in the fourth. When you think about it, the majority of the game Dallas actually played better. This game has everything to do with me thinking the mavs will come out and play their style and run out to an early lead and never look back. The spurs may very well end up conceding this one if they go down big early.

I think there's a good chance 3 out of the 4 home teams cover tonight. I'm usually more of a road/underdog guy
