Spurs are looking solid. Nuggets and Mavs are done for. Jazz will run out of gas next round. Spurs will beat portland/suns and then beat lakers/okc v jazz winner. Spurs are in the finals. They wont win it all though. The cavs are gonna win the NBA title this year and if you cant see that then you will see it in june.

It's the first round. The Lakes looked like shit in the first round last year. The Spurs are a good team but they've been shit on by the Lakers in recent years. The Mavs aren't really a test for the spurs, though they will take this series to 6 at least probably 7, wait until they get Bynum and Gasol the two towers. You're not going to win a championship without a true center, and McD isn't a true Center and Bynum will abuse him in the post. The next biggest guy the Spurs have is Bonner and he's a pussy.

Spurs wont have to play anyone that has a good centre.
Jazz-no centre
Thunder-no centre
Suns- no centre
Blazers - no centre
Lakers - going home soon

Robin Lopez will most likely be back for round 2 if the Suns advance, and while he's not an elite centre, he's got the size and he's been very effective for them. However in that matchup, Lopez wouldn't be the deciding factor in games...

Not at all Pauly- i respect Jerry Sloan alot and that organization is solid. I think you are completely unable to make judgements about the Jazz without being biased. Take a close look at whats going on. The Jazz are gonna beat a Denver team that has had issues all year and losing okur was a blessing in disguise. THe Jazz run a great pick and roll offense and get easy baskets at HOME. They arent gonna win anything Pauly- never have, never will. Oh btw you dont want to play the Lakers Pauly cause thats one team that is the worst nightmare for your boys. Mismatches everywhere.

we've seen this story 100 times with the lakers, and with the celtics. these young teams fight hard and push them to 7 and they come up short. they're not going anywhere.

We are talking about the Spurs inability to play post defense, that is not Lopez's game, Blair and McDyess will do fine on the glass against him and the Suns. And Lopez better be back by game 2 or the Spurs might go Moses Malone on the Suns.

If George Karl were on the sidelines the Jazz would be down 3-1 right now. Amazing how much impact coaching has on that team.

I am starting to think that the Spurs might not be able to beat Cleveland, but still feel the Magic should beat Cleveland and then the Spurs beat Orlando.

I am afraid you are right. OKC will find a way to steal one in LA. They got 2 games more to do it. Lakers will get smoked again in OKC if they win tommorow. What it boils down to... OKC is hungry and now confident and I don't think the Lakers can win all 4 games against them in LA. I hope the Lakers win tommorow so the series price goes back up and then I will take OKC to win the series. Right now the value is not that great and I think the Lakers will find away to win tommorow or otherwise it is a 6 game series OKC wraps up on there homecourt. When OKC wins game 6 assuming Lakers win game 5 OKC will find away to win game 7 in LA and it won't be as close as some think.. The Lakers are on there hills..

Also the Lakers own the JAZZ like a red headed stepchild and if someone don't take the Lakers out before the Jazz meets them my Jazz will be toast against the Lakers this much I will admit

They're old. There's so many games left. If they can somehow stay fresh they certainly have the team to do it. Especially if some of these higher seeds get upset.
