newsflash, denver was 34-7 at home while utah was 32-9. with a hobbling boozer and NO kirilenko for the entire series, i believe denver will ABSOLUTELY win a gm in utah. denver wins this series. price up to -200 for denver and +175 for the clear underdogs jazz

That was a stage show with the injuries, going to war without a general is like walking into a landmine and they are underdogs only because of the 4 -3 advantage which won't be needed cause they'll get it in the 6th

wow, i dont see it. i see them going back to utah down 2-0 and having to hold serve at hm and w/boozer hobbling and AK out i just dont see them winning. utah w/hobbling boozer and no AK < denver w/out george karl

GL to you too, Pauly, but it's really not a toss-up. denver is -200 because they have as good or better a hc adv (34 wins compared to 32) and have the healthier team. they will miss their coach but not as much as utah will miss boozer being 100% and AK's defense and hustle. denver is the play here

The Jazz have some severe matchup issues here. Martin/Nene/Anderson/Anthony are not going to allow them to score in the paint easily, and as long as DEN can stay out of early foul trouble, the Jazz are going to have a hard time keeping up. Billups will play them very tough.

That being said, I think it's going to be a very exciting series to watch and I would be shocked if it doesn't go to at least 6 games.

Nuggets owns Utah 3-1 this year. They've already beaten Utah in Utah without either Melo or Billups playing in that game. Even if Boozer is 100% healthy, they would still have a problem beating Denver. Don't waste too much time over analyzing things here fellas, by trying to out guess common sense.

Utah has some clear disadvantages with the injuries. They can give the Nuggets a good series and with Sloan coaching versus Dantley i can see this series going 7. The nuggs have homecourt and in the NBA playoffs thats huge especially in round 1.
