Yes, it is still worth the play. The Lakers haven't lost a 1st Q at home in the playoffs, and the avg. win margin is 9.9 with no win being by less than 3 points.

This is how they've fared:
LA's 1st Q's at home:

vs Oklahoma
Game 1: LA by 14
Game 2: LA by 8
Game 5: LA by 15

vs Utah
Game 1: LA by 7
Game 2: LA by 4

vs PHX
Game 1: LA by 9
Game 2: LA by 12

Not Sweet but Lakers bench is too shaky to bet first half.....first quarter Kobe and Pau all the way build leads and the unpredictable bench can do anything - hold, extend, or blow that lead.

I would pound first quarter then enjoy the rest of the game.
