anyone have good tips on how to beat a speeding ticket? - one month with my new car and they already got me...

im just concerned about my insurance going up - i had 1 other speeding ticket like 15 years ago which is now off my record. was doing 70 in a 50 according to this cop.

i know i should keep delaying the court date with hopes that he wont show.

any advice?

dont you guys have those guys down there in the states- ticketbusters? down here in toronto you just pay the guy $300 and he makes sure it gets thrown out- the cop wont show up. they are all former cops.

hahaha, sounds too awesome and un-american to exist here. that's a decent way to make money for former cops though.

I can understand taking the Cavs but why so big, what big edge do you see on the game? Does it worry that you that it actually dropped to -1 and didn't go up to -2.5?

Good luck Dex- we both are on the same page for once with the magic/atl unders for 2 consec games.

For speeding tix- don't set a court date- see if the court has open sessions (usually at 9 a.m. and then again at like 2 p.m.) and in those sessions its just a magistrate (not a judge) and a lot of ppl come and he'll just ask you about the ticket- say you were unfamiliar with the area/the roads, your record is clean, etc, and he'll probably give you impeding traffic (extra like 25 bucks) but 0 points. That's what magistrates are for, just make the court money w impeding traffic

cleveland is a lot different from atlanta, facing lebron is a lot harder than facing joe johnson

true that kobe but orlando is alot different than boston. orlando is a way better team than cleveland and i dont think lebron can do enough to beat orlando..this is not a knee jerk reaction to orlando's domination of 2 weak playoff teams either. it has more to do with what cleveland is doing rather than orlando for me.

huh, you joking right? What has changed so much from last year that makes you think that. Orlando can play defense and Lebron will get his, but what about the rest of Cleveland scoring. Orlando has great ball movement and inside out play. Orlando has too many threats and bench is too good. Lebron will need a triple/double every nite to have a chance. I haven't seen anything out of Cleveland against Boston that makes me think they can beat Orlando. Also, Cleveland will get out coached.

Cleveland has added a lot of length specifically for Orlando. Guys like Parker and Jamison will be closing out on shooters like Lewis and Pietrus now, as opposed to Delonte West and Mo Williams.

i dont think the king is done yet. public is on boston at 57% right now and the line has dropped from 1.5 to 1. lets see where it goes today.

when lebron shows up - they win. can he possibly not show up again tonight? if he doesnt, hes injured (which is why i didnt go higher then $400)..
