kevin garnett is not even close to the defensive player he once was. i watched guys blow by him all year for easy uncontested layups.

i didnt watch all of game 1 though...

I agree 100% But he played fantastic D in Game 1 I was real surprised. He also is a voice on the floor getting after his teammates that will be missed.

Here's just a few things to consider:

KG sucked defensively this year, but that first playoff game was vintage KG Defense. Plus, putting Sheed in the lineup (not sure if Rivers is starting him/Big Baby), spreads the floor a lot more offensively for the celts and will open up easier driving lanes for pierce and rondo. Ray Allen was way off in game one and it only takes 1-2 threes for him to get rolling. Wade is not going to be as passive this game, he's going to attack hard and get the celts in early foul trouble. Jermaine played pretty terrible too last game, expect him to have a better performance than that tonight.

Most importantly, there were 40 combined total turnovers in game 1 between those teams, which was the primary reasons why the score was the way it was. There's no way each team will have more than 10-14 turnovers in this game. If each team only had 10 turnovers in game 1, then there would have been an extra 15-20 shots in the game, and the total would be much higher than it was.

don know about that BOS under, MIA just has to shoot a bit better and the score goes over, I got them at 185 for the game today,

I also think that BOS is hurt right now and -2 looks pretty good to me.

Suns have to win today and make a statement, might even play the 1H, still pending.

OKC looks like a nice pick to me too, but really dont know.

well I was off by 2 points for the Boston game, shit happens, at least Bos won.

Suns did what they should have done and OKC kept it close.

I Think you're right on with the Bucks, Dexter.
The books made the Hawks chalk, and the public took the bait right away.
We'll get som increased value on Bucks in the third game after they've lost two SU/ATS, and they gotta show some heart at home!

not toast, suns look like bait right now and if your a line movement guy than the blazers are a no brainer thus far (lets see closer to game time), but i factor the matchup into my pick much more than that line and i'm just not buying into port tonight. salt lake has not been kind to the nuggets over the last few years (1-5 last 6) and many other teams obviously. just really feel strongly that sloan gets them ready at home having the slightly better defensive team. granted no ak47 will mean a field day for melo, but utah has the edge with home court even minus him and okur. other guys will step up in front of the home crowd and i just see tremendous value on the line (i took the ML to make it simple) now that okur and ak have factored into the low spread.

dont like the early movement but it seems to be coming back up, and if this closes at 3 i'll feel very confident.

you will never see me fade utah at home - esp with a wacky team like denver.

4 is a lot of points for miami so i didnt feel as comfortable assigning the most weight to that.
