The 1H line is correct. Suns home games produce more points in the 1H than in the 2H, especially because of the tendency for a huge 1Q score. I like the OVER in both the 1Q and 1H.

I am going to make this writeup short and sweet. We have the #1 OVEF ref in the NBA Spooner reffing. He is 34-22 O/U and has the highest total average points scored in the games he reffed at 207avg. Why the 1H and not the game? Phoenix just scores so much more 1H especially in that 1st quarter. They tend to slow down in the fourth quarter too much. Also the total line is 216 and the 1H line is 111. This line doesn't make much sense since 111 x 2 is 222 and the line for the game is 216. The total opened at 216 and went up to 216.5 so that's a good sign in terms of the line movement on the total.

I have this game capped at 106-107 for 1H and the last three in phoenix were 101, 123,116. So I was going to go as a no play, but your logic and infor has me bought in for the 1h over. Thanks.

You probably have your picked already locked in, but don't automatically assume this will be a high scoring game. This will be one of the most physical games of the season for both teams, and your really going to see a lot of banging in the paint. Teams are not going to settle for jump shots for the most part, which is probably a good thing. With that ref statistic, the over looks solid. It just depends how the refs are going to let this game play out, if they're going to call all the fouls or let the guys go at it.

because i guarantee there will be a lot of shoving and bullying in this game.

I have no problems with your 1H OVER pick at all. Of course, the 1Q should be very high-scoring, so the 1H should easily go OVER 111. But I think the game o/u is a pass because of the possibility of a low-scoring 4Q.
