IDK who's out and who's playing.
The total is now too steep for an UNDER play.
I think the team that needs it more will get it - Portland ML (+120), IMHO.

It doesn't look like anyone is out but the line is dropping (down to -2.5). While this game is more important to Portland, it isn't do-or-die for the Blazers since they are already in the playoffs. I have been wrong on LA recently, but I think this is a situation where they take the game seriously. They are still trying to stay with Orlando for homecourt during a possible finals matchup, and I don't think they want to potentially face Portland in the first round with the Blazers coming off a win in LA. Any extra hope or confidence the Blazers have might enable them to ride small momentum and steal a game or two, and the Lakers will want to end that series as quickly as possible.

I'm going Lakers -2.5. Played the under last night.

i digg.but with out kobe (i don't even know if he is playing ha) they cant promise the plus+ and the Portland team has nothing but vets that can shot so they can control the ins and out of the court.

                      from the lakers blog:

Kobe Bryant, who sat out the past two games because of swelling in his right knee, is expecting to be in uniform and on the court Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers at Staples Center.
no play for me...the lakers could show up against a play-off contending team like the blazers but the blazers will be fighting for it, should be good at least

seems like Lakers -2.5 is a strong play. Are they just gonna lay down? I don't think so, they still need to win games and I doubt they loose two in a row at home.

national tv. I like lakers to win but not sure yet if they win by 1 or 3, also leaning the under at 190 but like the over at 186.5. did take laker 1h as an over 94

Portland is one of the best road team, but playing in one of the hardest place to win at this season. I'll take the Lakers and lose happy today. Them favored by less than 5 is always a good bet.

the line movement is the line movement. I have a small play on the under for the game. I got it at under 186.5. The way I read the line movement, the heavy sharp money has been pouring in on the under. So, under it is for me.......forgetting all other factors and focusing just on line movement, that is the play the numbers tell me. It would seem that the books know good and damn well that this is going under and are simply trying to entice the public to overthink and play the over just cuz it looks too low. Either way, BOL all.

Its kind of unnerving to block the natural urge to consider matchups, trends etc. But, I do reluctantly and lucratively admit that watching the line movement for sharp money is the way to go. I dont care what the line looks like. There is no such thing as a line that is too high or too low IMO. If the sharps are pounding it, I am following their money. They have done considerable work, payoffs, handicapping and whatever else. This game is on LOCK for the under. There is a definite science to seeing through the BS and knowing when the books are trying to lure you in. Following the money makes money.
