I read a thread earlier that said that teams rarely cover when they need a game. This will be a great test for that. I like NJ as well.

i like this lean as well... even though the bulls just gave it to the nets a couple of weeks ago, i think the nets will remember that game... still on the lean though bc the bulls now have a better shot to claim that 8th spot while the raptors will be without bosh for these last few games... then too, thats prob what the books want us to think... hmmmmmmm???

General reason: I think a lot of folks will get drowned by this whole notion that each game is a "must-win" for teams playing for better playoff spots. Teams tend to play under pressure in such circumstances, which bodes well for the opponents.
Specific reasons: Nets +5.5: The Bulls offense is just too erratic to back them as a 5.5-point road favorite against a Nets team that's balling decently as of late.
Hornets +5.5: This line opened at 6.5 and with only 40% of bettors on the Hornets quickly moved to 5.5. Utah is definitely the better team, but let's not quickly forget that Utah has never been a reliable road team. Collison & Co. can cover this seemingly short but tricky spread.
76ers +4.5: It's no coincidence that the 76ers are 7-1 ATS against these dreamers from Milwaukee.
Wizards +11.5: Boston covered the spread in their last game and it has now become a taboo for Boston to cover the spread in 2 straight games. Boston's penchant for squandering leads also makes this pick an excellent one.
